If your bugs are “greyed out” do you not need any of those?

Hi everyone. Long time no see. I work a lot more these days so I can?t play or post here as often as I did. I?m confused by the bug sharing. Could my friends still need bugs for hard tasks but their bugs are greyed out because they?ve finished the main tasks? Or could they have flowers open because they are growing them to trade or for rewards?

I am worried that I?m not giving back bugs because it looks like they are not needed.

Hi! It does mean they have finished all of the tasks, and they don't need any of those greyed out flowers anymore.
When all of the flower types are greyed out, it means they have finished the main tasks + the extra tasks.
I also finished all tasks yesterday, and I definitely don't mind that people aren't sending me bugs anymore as I don't need them. I do still breed flowers to get the 500 goal (seems impossible at this point though) and to help others out

Thank you Nougat. That makes me feel better. I have such lovely friends who can see that I still need bugs and are giving them to me even though they have finished. I wonder if I am expected to give them back so they can them back to me again? I wouldn’t like to be a nuisance. But I appreciate it so much. I’ve not been able to finish the last two garden events and I was pretty disappointed. This time I think I might!

You could also send them back, so they can send them back to you again, but I don't think they'll mind if you don't You can also help out other players who haven't finished yet.
