is there an emoji or emoji habit that bothers you?

the clapping hands after every word is the only emoji trend that bothers me tbh but i rarely see it since i dont go on social media except for art and at work for my job
god yes, someone kill it with fire.

and yeah i hate autocorrecting too like, the @ _ @ is supposed to be like angry/frustrated face not a dizzy eyes thing :(

@corncob yes i hate the pleading face/pointing combo as well like... stop begging peeps!

It's a little thing, but my aunt really likes to use this emoji 😬 as a "big happy smile" and I'm like... Auntie no. Same deal with when the crying laughing emoji gets used as just crying; sometimes it takes me a moment to figure out the actual intention behind it.
Also, I think this emoji 💦 is cute when it's used for nervous/panicked sweatdrops, but I rarely ever use it because it can be, uh, misconstrued.

I don't like it when adult men uses emojis within their sentences after every other word or so.
Putting emojis at the end of a message, or as their own message is ok though.

The replacing the gun emoji for watergun annoys me, because
Gun = Too dangerous for emojis!!!!
Meanwhile = 🏹🔪🗡🪓🔨⛏⚔✂🪒👊🤺💊💉🍷🍺🚬🩸💣🧨☢☣💥🔥🌪🤬🔞

i hate the 🤫 emoji because it will forever remind me of amogus

I really don't dislike any of them. But when someone's entire post consists of every emoji known to mankind is when it bugs me, but that's just the people and their content or lack of it.

And yeah the people who do the clapping emoji or add a period between each sentence to get a message across come off as such tools.

Oh yeah and I also don't like it when people use clapping emojis after each word. I get it's trend but I find it annoying but clearly I'm not the only one

Clapping emojis annoy me, but I don't hate them as much as other people.

I think what bugs me more are the rolling eyes emoji. When directed at someone, especially you, there is no 👏possible 👏 way 👏 it 👏 isn't 👏 meant 👏 to 👏 be 👏 offensive 👏.

Phew, that's exhausting, pasting so many claps. How do these people do it?!

I use the laughing emoji a lot when I’m talking with someone on Snapchat. My most used emojis are 😅, 😂, and probably 😣. I use them very rarely on the forum. I think they convey emotion. I feel that it’s hard to interpret emotions behind a wall of text. If I’m saying something in a joking manner, I’ll go ahead and add an emoji after it. Otherwise, I feel like it would easily be taken out of context. Emojis can help convey tone in your messages. In person, I use my hands a lot when I speak out of habit. It also helps me convey tones behind what I say.

I don't like the 100 emoji that's underlined twice, but probably really only because my aunt makes constant Facebook posts with it in it and she's just annoying in general, so whenever I see that I just associate it with her aggravating stream of Facebook posts

Emojis usually make me cringe if they're used consecutively in a sentence or just an overwhelming amount, but one or two is fine if they're used naturally and not in a trying to be quirky way. I don't really use them but if I do it's not the reaction ones but like the Crescent Moon or animal ones and use text based emojis since I've always preferred them C:

Oh, one thing that does quite annoy me. When people respond to a message I send with only emoji(s).

Particularly annoying if the message I sent was a question and thus requires an answer.

I find XD used unironically to be weird but that's because my past self used it
way
too
much
But who am I to talk because I've began using emojis after every damn sentence 🤕

I Think There Was A Time When I Used To Type Like This... I thought it was cool at the time but now it seems sort of cringe. I don’t really have a reason for why I would capitalize the first letter of every word, but it’s kind of embarrassing looking back now. This was back in 2009 when I first got a computer and was learning to use it. I’m glad I grew out of that before joining forums, lmao.

Whenever people type like that. I. Read. It. Like. This.
