money and for them to take me out to eat
but they usually take me out to eat and still give me gifts like perfume, clothes, or whatever and probably 2-3 family members actually give me money
I hate asking for stuff, to be honest. I prefer to go out and get everything I need myself. Makes me feel like a fool when everyone is doing everything for me.

I really feel like a burden asking for presents so I've kind of got to the point where I'm asking for practical things like socks or stationary or money so I can buy my own things.
I literally hate celebrating my birthday because it's a crappy reminder of me getting older, losing my youth so i don't really want nothing but people ignore my wishes anyways and get me something.
I usually don't know what I want around my birthday (besides a dog, but I doubt anyone will just give me one). I do like eating out at a nice restaurant with my family though.
If someone asks me "What would you like for your birthday?", I always feel awkward asking for money directly. If they choose to give me money, that's fantastic! But I'd feel awkward just asking for cash. I like to think of a general category of stuff I might like or try to come up with a list of a couple things I've had my eye on for a while. So I might ask for that particular makeup set or warm socks. If I can't think of anything, I'll ask for a gift card from a store I like. It's basically like cash, but I feel less awkward asking for it.
I just like going out to eat with my family. I usually pick Applebees or Chili's, but if someone were to ask me what I want, I would probably say a cozy sweater, cherry chocolates, or a book. Those three things always make me happy.
