I'm actually going to do some water colour flowers later today, once my dog gets off my lap.
It has occured to me that I don't draw my my favourite Animal Crossing character Jerico enough. So I did some doodles. This was also a test to 'find my style' which I'm starting to get a grasp of. I like how they came out, esp the one I coloured.
I drew this last night then did alot of digital editing. Editing def gives it more pop, I just need to figure out how to do it better.
The technique was using watercolour markers and blending/layering with a laminated paper. I used mixed media paper so I think next time I'll use watercolour paper.
I need to play some catch up with this thread, I have about 2 other pieces I haven't posted yet
Anyway here's a Tangy piece I did real quick using the new Shar-peis I got
This was very quick, I did no previous sketch before hand, just straight marker and drawing. If anyone is curious, I have an art only tumblr (link in my sig) where I post only art I've done. It's all art, not just fan art.

Here's a piece I did torwards the end of January, I was testing out some new 'styles' and little things I could incorporate in my future drawings. I was also messing around with digital editing and such.

This is a really nice full-body drawing!
Also it's always good to try out new things when drawing. I recently tried some new shading techniques (I tried to incorporate it into the commissions I did recently, prob gonna do the same when I do your last commission), and developing your own style is a great step towards becoming a great artist

Thanks for the kind words! I've been tryin to develop a style for a while now while also tryin to understand art better (like anatomy and such). So far I know I like to
-have two toned eye colours, even if it's a lighter shade of the same shade
-more colour on areas like knees, elbows and under the chin for shading
-simple, almost cartoony
-fluffy hair (I actually like drawing hair)
-somewhat derived from anime style
I found out I don't have alot of patience, somethin which prob contradicts doing art, so I want to make a style that is easy for me to draw quickly to eventually make comics again. I also really need to improve on colouring.
Another drawing! I'm not sure if I've ever showcased him here before, but I have a villagersona I love, he's Lime Cat.
I also made a couple digital versions with different shirts. But I like this version cause with digital it's just too obvious that it's not drawn.
Tumblr isn't working for me right now (my usual site hosting for pics) so here's a link to my AC twitter where I posted my most recent artwork, a cherry blossom watercolour painting. The quality of the pic is real bad, blame twitter.

I might, I used to run a shop but I haven't been able to keep it running due to life. Rn I'm taking it slow and trying to manage my time. I can take tbt requests on the side, but they would require atleast a week for me to complete if not longer.

I am obsessed with my little custom villager, Lime Cat. If I could hack I'd put him in my town in a heartbeat.
