Damniel, what are you specifically looking for when you dig for reads from people? I myself have never liked the forced list of reads that people post. If anything it just feels a bit sloppy.

"Make a reads list." Versus looking through someones strong posted reads and discussing that with them.

The whole reads list thing itself over the past few pages hasn't really felt beneficial, as much as how people have responded to the reads have been.

I'd much prefer a discussion on strongly declared reads, even going back to me might be more useful than this.

Also sorry daniel, I turned my question to you into a complaint.

you said before you were very aware of her scum play last game and that she was town to you. what changed and is this new behavior consistent with her play last game?

yes, the only reason i'm still slightly hesitant about bianca is that based on her playstyle from our scum game i feel like she might have laid low/stayed more inactive d1 than she has, but it's also very possible that she's being encouraged to post more by scumpartners

i basically chucked my entire inital readlist out the window bc as i said before i posted it prematurely just to try and revive conversation that i felt had gone stale, so feel free to discard all of those reads and i'll post an updated one in the morning

bianca's unwillingness to actually declare a scumlean on anybody (even a mild one) is very consistent with her scumplay last game

I like seeing the progression of people's reads. I think either a list or explaining their current thoughts is fine. But currently Bianca is floating around and I didn't see what your thought process was on anyone beyond ness at the time I asked

I just am listing my reads and thoughts as they come to me. It will continue to be in my list from now, I don't think you have a concise train of thought which concerns me, I think you are just pointing out albeit easy things to just appear town... I don't see anything thats really game contributing... you "pointed out sensai" congratulations you brought attention to an inactive player. Thats not that big of stretch,

when did you ask for me and shawo to have more interaction? and what did I say? I don't shy away from anything to do with another player, I stand by my original reads shawo, but i'm not gonna sit around and beat a dead horse.

To clarify the last half of it wasn't directed towards you, generally progression of reads is most healthy when pushed towards one specific aspect of the game.

So given the state of the game up to this point, with more interactions between me/ness, Ace has some posts I guess, and so does Toads, do you have any updated reads on the five of us specifically?

And then...

What players do you want to post more?

Those are probably two incredibly useful questions, versus the "post a list of reads."

So I guess I'd like to hear some responses to those.

what assumptions do you think I've made? If you're talking about your standard like yea I expect you to be aware of how to play to some degree. I get its been years but its not like you're completely clueless on mafia

for example, not thinking i'd take things personally off the bat over something that didn't appear as a joke. also, you've stated that you expect me not to back off when people disagree, even despite the fact that i've mentioned i ask questions to see reactions. is it scum-leaning to you when people are defensive? or is it scum-leaning to you when people don't want to scumlean people without reason? the assumption isn't the standard -- it's the assumptions you've made about me and my playstyle without ever seeing it in action.

Ace i don't see anything town from him yet but he's being to easy to beat on so im just waiting for more clear reads on glow now. i've been town leaning toads and ness so that's been the same. for you i still don't like the entrance yesterday but you've begun to go off ness so I'm like fine with that for now. Not enough to take you and ace out of my PoE pool

bianca, hayden, sensai, and the new players I'd want to hear more from. I'm trying to understand Bianca's thought process and hayden and sensai haven't posted much yet. Hayden is making a case rn and its odd sensai gave a vote list but no real explanation

2. Daniel knows how I play and somehow he didnt bother telling Epona what is my MO and what is not my MO (unless he really is not sure of my playstyle-- which to me is non playstyle at all..I dont think I have a specific meta--i hate meta!)
3. Daniel and epona posting the same time on the reads discussion on me.
4. Them explaining to me about possibility of mafia being randed andme saying Me and epona couldnt be mafia ...and Daniel and epona seeming to explain both to me..
