as am i, i don't think newer players should get a townlean for the sake of being new at all. that said, without their posts just now, i would have wasted a null or even scumlean on pinkshade who i am now confident is town.

That being said, this isn't how i'm used to playing the few times that i have, and it's been really intimidating for me to jump in, so I’m sorry for any inactivity. i don't know fully how i'm supposed to read people or what to say really,, so i've been basing things off of my gut primarily. is there any way that i can get some help? i think aerious mentioned coaches. idk how to navigate this hhh, all i do know that i'm innocent and i'd like to help us win

- Inclined to believe that naivety in the game is an indication of a townie, especially as a newer player. From my experience a new player as Mad would probably struggle to blend in and stay unseen to the town.
- Hard to read as town and scum playstyles are very similar.
- Mainly due to their interaction with Shawo. It seemed evident to me that Toad was trying to scumhunt but was getting antagonised by Shawo
- Can't get a good read on Bianca. Nothing is standing out in a bad way. Partial Town Lean

- As toads pointed out yesterday, they entered the chat, talked about the mechanics of the game endlessly and arguing with toad about it. Randomly left a vote on Ace with no explanation. It seems awfully antagonistic. I've never played with them before so I'm not aware of their playstyle, but regardless I don't like it. When addressing their behaviour, they justify it with 'I think they were sus'.
Punchy - Null/Scum Lean
- Very unmotivated. "Too much fluffy BS that will be discredited later" in relation to early game. I get the perspective but I'd expect something to contribute.
Pinkshade - Null/Town Lean
- Nothing said has convinced me that they're not town or scum. Newest posts incline town, possible AtE however as a new player that's not too likely.
- I don't like how they were after a glow bandwagon for no apparent reason. Ness did ask why they were after this and he was ignored. Later asked again he was insistent that glow was the appropriate option so I'd like to see some explanation as to why. Tunnelling for no reason. Clarified as doing so to get reactions out of people.

I didn’t want to replace just yet because I had a feeling it was possible for the game to get better and I’m glad it seems I was correct in that although it happened much more quickly than I had originally thought but that’s a good thingDon't feel like that, it's hard, but give it your all! don't feel pressured, if you are being read scum prove them wrong.
If you want to go, don't go on a suicide mission, and ask for a replacement. But I would really like it if you stay, the bigger this community gets the better.
I'm leaning scum with you for my logic to make sense, but nothing is set and that could change. I will respect your decision, but one substantial post per day cycle is enough to keep going. It's also okay to be wrong, I'm wrong most of the time.
How can we help you have a better time? I understand the attacking people is hard, but sometimes that's the only way to get reactions. Go on your own accord if your really want, but please don't do it like this. After D1 it gets more clear how the targets are, and it won't be as random.
day 1 is always a bit gross bc nobody has any idea about anybody's alignment except their own (minus scumteam. informed minority vs uninformed majority)
a good way to start is to decide who you're gut-reading as suspicious, and then look back at their posts. you can ISO people by clicking the search button in the top right corner, entering their username in the 'By: username' field, and selecting 'this thread' in the dropdown menu
try to look for inconsistencies in peoples' line of thinking, jumping on other peoples' suspicions in an opportunistic way etc etc
day 2 is easier bc we will know the alignment of at least one dead player, which reveals more about peoples' intentions the day before in hindsight
anyway now that i am finished kum-ba-yahing let's start a wagon
