Mafia June 2020 Mafia Game Thread [DAY 2 ENDS AT 6/20 5PM PST]

1. They have 0 sense of self preservation.
- This isn't always a towntell, but given the circumstances I think it was a very not mafia thing to do.
Mafia has no motivation to get themselves killed, especially since if they REALLY needed help they could've used the quicktopic/gotten coached.

2. For some reason... they were there at the end??? And when there was a chance for punchy to get lynched, they STILL hammered themselves???
-Punchy didn't flip mafia, so it's not as if Sensai was trying to protect Punchy the Ninja or anything.

3. Even before end of day what they did didn't really make senseas mafia. They tried really hard to start a lynch on me that completely fizzled out. This ones iffer though.

1 there was! you just don't see it, actually giving up would meant stop posting after the I don't care if you vote for me.
2 Because they knew they were going to survive.
3 You are town, but you were an easy out, some people including myself would have joined that wagon to save Punchy. Atm I believed you were scum leaning.

@Ace Marvel end of day doesn't support the argument that they were going to live, it supports the argument that they thought they were going to die and kill themselves.

Evidence: At the point in which they voted, the votes were 7 Sensai, 5 Punchy, and then Sensai voted themselves. The only reason they lived was because 4 people voted Punchy end of day. FOUR.

Evidence for the point I'm trying to make: Aerious claimed to want to switch from Sensai to Punchy at end of day. Should Sensai have voted Punchy, the votes would have gone from 7,5 to 6,6 putting Sensai's vote as hammer.

I'd say half the time there's one mafia in the two of you.
So even if I think there's mafia in you, I can lynch outside safely for 3. If not, then I'm not wasting a lynch on town.

I'm pushing Daniel because I think Daniels game and Daniels end of day has the largest disparity. Ness definitely has had a consistent, but weak game.

Teddy/Ace, I have this theory that he is not having as much fun as the other game because he is maf on this one and there is a lot more pressure. This game has way more people too, so I am not really firmly believing on this. I think people are prone to make mistakes and it’s hard to go back on your word, hence why they pushed the glow agenda for so long. I think the problem with that was his tunneling and it got really old really fast and he dropped that too late and it look like he couldn’t make on his mind on his next target for a good while. That’s why I don’t think I’m contracting myself when I said that I couldn’t see a maf protecting punchy because teddy sounds like he pulled a bianca and flipped a coin to choose who he would protect. Idk. Scum leaning.

Aerious is really hard to make a read because her posts are a little,,,, long lmao. I couldn’t read all of Toads/Aerious argument because after a while that was really draining my energy but I think it got to a point it barely had anything to do with mafia. I know this affects how my slot is perceived but I don’t think wanting to sub out is AI. Honestly the culture shock is so hard with Aerious, I can’t agree with their playstyle, but a discussion with Daniel about tunneling made me have some insight on her thoughts. But anyway, I think her targets and motives don’t seem town for me, and she is barely helping town and sometimes refuses to listen to anyone. This is prone to change since now toads is gone and maybe she feels more comfortable, but I will put as a scum leaning.

Given Ace's case on Aerious, which one do you find more likely to be scum? I think it's more Aerious then him but yea as you said they're probs not teamed

Bianca… Bianca is being way more helpful than last game but she is still so hard to contact and make questions

IDK, if Ness was scum I would’ve expected him to come into the thread, rambling about how we didn’t lynch Sensai.

And this is kinda weak but his death prediction on me and Daniel dying is exactly what I was thinking, I know I’m town so I felt like that also came from a town POV.

Otherwise yeah his play so far is kinda weak, baseless arguments and tunnelling Sensai is all I recall, but for me it doesn’t equate to scum.

If he was mafia, I would think he would be a bit brighter to not go for Epona or Mayor Leaf?? They were such obvious jailkeeps/doc protects/watches. Again that’s pure conjecture but yeah. On that note, whoever mafia are, those kills were sooo stupid given the PRs but it worked out anyway -____-
