I'd say Sora, but you didn't mention GBA for some reason. Eh...
Anyways, we need more items. I noticed the selection was pretty much the same at each shop and there wasn't much cheap. I can supply these items if need be. You don't have to use all of them, of course. So...
Peach - Only get rolls between 6 and 10 this turn (500 bells)
Pear - Only get rolls between 1 and 5 this turn. (500 bells)
Lemon - You steal a random item of each player you pass this turn. (1,000 bells)
Durian - Your roll for this turn sends you backwards instead of forwards. (500 bells)
Coconut - Each player you pass through this turn loses 500 bells. (500 bells)
Banana - Uses up your turn to play a minigame. (500 bells)
Hammer - Causes a duel with the first player you pass this turn. (500 bells)
Medicine - Makes you immune to losing bells and items this round. (500 bells)
Fortune Cookie - Swap places with another player chosen at random. (2,000 bells)
Beehive - Place on the board in the same way as a Pitfall. Anyone who passes the space gets sent backwards 10 spaces. (1,500 bells)
Now that I look back, that's a lot... maybe too much. Not sure. Was also considering some type of effect for Lychee and Persimmon, but I couldn't think of any. I also didn't want any item that's of a generic type of icon (furniture, stationary, wallpaper, carpet, clothing). Wish there were more aggressive-type items...
EDIT: A wild minigame appeared!
- Floored by Walls (2v2)
Each team is given a set of 10 (?) walls and floors, organized by wall and floor. One player on each team can only touch wallpaper, and the other can only touch carpet. Each player can only pick up one item at a time. You need to organize them by set. Coordination is required here to tell each other what you've picked up and where to drop it. First to organize wins!
- Everyone Walk the Dinosaur! (1v2)
Buried within the town are 4 fossils - 1 complete fossil of 3 parts, and one random single fossil. There are also numerous pitfalls. If you pick up a fossil that's not part of your set, you must re-bury it. The 1 player must find his single fossil, and the other 2 must find the set of 3. First to find their fossil(s) wins!
