ISTP-T. I got it last time I did this test and I got it again. I remember in the past somewhere I had a J in there somewhere. I guess I changed.

meyers-briggs has been proven garbage time after time, i can see the fun in taking the quizzes but don't take them seriously and definitely don't let others' type mean anything to you. it's just as meaningless as like, astrology

on topic, the only letter that's stayed the same for me is "N"/intuitive

I got INSTJ - T (Logistician). I found myself really resonating with a lot of the strengths and weaknesses that the site noted. Interestingly enough, I'm also strongly a Logistician because the majority of my results are in the 60%+ range. I wasn't like, 51% and 49% on a particular strength.

I think that these kinds of personality tests can be fun to do, but you shouldn't put too much stock into them. As people, we're complex and always changing, and I'm not sure that a short personality quiz can really describe us accurately.

I took it recently for an assignment and I got the Defender type which I didn't think fit me at first but after reading the details I agree with it. The only part I disagreed with was the careers area

I've taken this same test for some school assignments in college, I tried to look for my results, but I couldn't find them, all I remember is that I had an old wizard looking guy and sure enough, I retook the test and I'm 99% sure I had the same results as back then. INFJ-A (Assertive Advocate).
I have to say I agree with this 100%

I wouldn't consider it garbage on that scale. I agree with the people here that it has its usefulness.

Its useful, but should not be used by solely itself to judge a persons personality. I have had a friend who took it and got the results as an introvert even though he is totally an extrovert.

I took the test a little while back and posted about it in a similar thread on here, and I got the personality type of ISFP-A (Assertive Adventurer). While I can definitely see it being a little useful, I wouldn't use the results of the test to make any big decisions. As much as these tests try, you just can't fit people into small little boxes, and your personality type could change drastically even from a small thing like a change in mood. I will say one thing though, the test can be a bit of a nice confidence booster, as it can show you some good traits about yourself, which especially helps if you're in a rut or a bit depressed at the time.

i guess it gives u a bit of an idea of what kind of person you are. when i was a lot younger id get intp but as i grew older it would change a lot. now im entp. obviously its dumb if someone judges you right off the bat because of what you got as we're a lot more complex than a test

i agree with a lot of it but i disagree with a lot too. im not always looking for a "debate" and 99% of the time i avoid them and im not the best at conversation but i do try.... i think thats it im not going to read loads of details because i cant be bothered

O YEA and i matched with someone on tinder the other day and he asked me what my personality is so i said and well... he was a bit discouraged and then asked what my sign is and then sent me a "capricorn x scorpio vine compilation thingy" and said he was feeling more relieved. like What?

For years I've always consistently got INTP / INFP (very 50/50 for feeling/thinking) so I think it must be fairly accurate, but I can't say that it is particularly true to who I am. It is interesting though, I used to take loads of personality tests when I was a teenager

I've done the test twice with two years between the tests and got INFP-A (Mediator) both times. The first time I did it the description felt very accurate, but the second time I did it the description seemed considerably more off to me and I was a bit unhappy that the result hadn't changed although I felt a change. Note that some of the letters are very ambiguous, for example my feeling VS thinking is 51% VS 49% so with different questions I might have gotten INTP-A etc.

Of course it's not nonsense because you answer how you react to scenarios so it knows about your behavioural and thought patterns and can so it can approximate to a generalisation of your personality. You also have to look at how the letters weight (%) so you can get a better picture. If you scored 100% on the different areas vs the others, the description would probably be extremely accurate. If your results are ambiguous (percent-wise), obviously it's going to be less accurate. People in here say that personality is more complex and yes, the test does acknowledge that by showing you where you seem to fall in on those different spectrums that it assesses.

I took MBTI tests in 6 different sites years ago, and the results were 3 of which were INTJ, 2 of which were ISTJ, and the last one was INFJ. I'm leaning towards INTJ

I dunno about now tho'

I question the accuracy of these tests, but it can be interesting to see what one allegedly gets. In the spoiler tag is the result that I got earlier in the week, which is actually the same thing I've been getting for awhile now.

I used to get INTJ when I first started taking these kinds of tests, but now I only get INFJ (so overall it's been like half and half of each type. Whatever).

I think it’s more accurate to look at the cognitive functions. I’m an ENFP. I’ve gotten that result on the test (honestly got 100% extrovert, never thought it was that extreme, lmao). I used to be really shy, but I think it was a confidence thing?? I’m a much different person now and I’m extremely extroverted.

Here’s a site I recommend if you are interested in cognitive functions. It’ll help you figure out your type more accurately! The test gives you an idea, but it’s definitely not 100% accurate.

Leaning towards INTP, could also be ISTP or ENTP. I've collected literally every result on different websites over the years except for ESFJ, ESTJ and ENFJ which either makes me a superhuman or very frantic and indecisive about my identity.
Anyone who has -A or -T after their result probably took 16personalities which is known for mistypes, i don't think assertive and turbulent are taken seriously in the community anyway? MBTI isnt either but cognitive functions are. From what i understand INFP, INTP and INFJ are the most common mistypes.
I think it's a fun way to describe yourself but realistically i would say it doesnt apply to real people as much which is why there's a whole community that types fictional characters who arent as complex.
Enneagram is closely associated with functions, i took a very long test on that and got 9w1, though i also tend to get type 7 or 9w8 on other websites.

meh, i take its usefulness with a grain of salt. it's a fun personality test, and i enjoy taking it for my characters, but it's never held any real weight for me. i've had multiple different results (including an extroverted one despite me being the total opposite) and a lot of the advice for careers, relationships and friendships, weaknesses and strengths etc. is very hit or miss. i take it about as seriously as i do zodiac signs, especially as a leo whose only correct trait is the narcissism lmao. i definitely wouldn't put any weight in those compatibility charts, least of all because they seem to change depending on your source. humans are far too complex to be sorted into boxes the way personality types and starsigns attempt to. i think it's better to say we are all a little bit of most types but tend to express one more than the rest.
