Money tree maximum amount to bury

I've looked for this answer and I trust the forums more than random sites. Is 90k the maximum you can get from these?
I see it everywhere that if you bury 30+ it will still only give 90k max. I did planted 33k bells on one and got 90k but thought it was maybe due to not being a whole number.

Please help before I bury these 99k q.q

I thought it was 10k max to bury. Someone on another site said they buried 50k and tripled it. I’m so scared to try so today I only buried 10k.

Many people have claimed that update 1.1.1 fixed this, so the max amount to bury for a safe payout is 10k.

Others tried this after the update. And many of them only get 30k max despite burying more than 10k bells.

Maybe it's random like some do get the profit and some just get the 90k

If you wanna play it safe then bury 10k. I buried 60k twice and they both gave me back three 10k bags instead lol. But the 30k I burried ended up tripping my money. All in all, it ain’t worth it to do more than 10.

Ok I played on my other switch to test this I planted 99k for 4 days straight and skipped 4days ahead on the last day I got 99kx3 twice and got 10kx3 twice so is all rng I guess or a day yes a day no .-.
