But fine, I have no real read on Sidney other than she's currently active enough to avoid being eliminated D1 by inactive pushers but her posts lack any real substance much like @tae though Tae is at least doing some light prodding.

Dan cringing was referring to me asking everyone's opinion on elim vs no elim d1, not voting an inactive. He's been quite vocal on that in the past games, lol, a true d1 bloodshed believer.
We've gotten through quite a bit of a game with a complete no show player who wasn't replaced. I don't know if one wasn't available or what, but it was quite frustrating to have a zero activity slot that far along in the game.
Meh...I don't see anything pointing to Sidney thus far. What are your reasons for choosing sidney?

and @Betsy, if not Sidney, who would you rather. You can't just say to not vote someone because they aren't pointed to as maf. If you assume that we HAD to eliminate someone, who would you prefer?

I don't find it to be a good read because ultimately I don't feel there's been enough for me to come to see conclusion about Sidney. While posts lacking substance tend to lean Mafia, it's not like there's been any real conversation to be had to comment on thus far until now and I'm disinclined to say "ah this person is probably Mafia/town" so far.

No I think you're just trying to kickstart Day 1 that's generally been very lackluster by making conversation.
Ultimately my position is this regarding Day 1s, read into it however you will but I've no real interest in voting for a specific person unless they slip or I am really convinced that they're not town by EoD. I would rather play a Day 1 where we had a N0 and a kill to go off of, however that's understandably unfun for the one soul who signed up and got got before anything really started. So instead we sit, get a feel for each other, have a mental cognitive test in the form of five questions (pronouns, time zones, color, unladened airspeed of a swallow, if two guys were on the moon and one killed the other would that be messed up or what), and make something out of nothing until the majority is convinced that yeah so-and-so's answers/rebuttals seemed scumish enough that I would feel comfortable enough voting to eliminate them.
between talking about pogo and mostly just people talking about d1 violence vs no violence there hasn't been much to pick at. mostly people talking about geoni treatment, wall2wall xiv pulls, gut pokes and their lack of experience there isnt **** to chew on.
gut instinct is never trust trent. but also never trust you.
i only have history with you guys for past games and i don't know any of the new people so meta and gut feeling arent strong when theres no substance.
why sidney on your side? explain it like im 5.

Well, I was thinking sheep seems more town leaning, based on their previous play from town games, and if the inactives will be replaced for d2, I'd vote for either Totally_RandomYT or tae- if I HAD to vote one. No substance, no prodding, no voting. A few pokemon go related posts from the one but that's it.
Right now you seem to be following the same patterns as your last town game. Trent I have no idea. He seems to be poking some now but looking for a real quiet d1 w/ a quick no elim vote....seems like if people went along with it would just help maf hide. But maybe that is just his playstyle.

ok but why. i asked sheep why he was so down for violence d1 but had nothing to add to it/ no feelers put on on who they'd wanna look at, they never responded.
Let's assume we do No Elim here. Then what. The towniest player probably dies. Cop gets a check, probably on the scummiest player. We're better off actively elimming scumtelling town than just nk. Especially since cop has no protection. Why gamble on the chance of cop death vs actually trying to hunt mafia yourself.

but to be honest id kill shawo simply based on his idea of me being an easy kill last game we played and losing horribly and i think he deserves to lose by death again.
We would still have information from Day 2 and be up one town compared to if we were to get it wrong on Day 1 if we voted to elim. Poke prod and inquire Day 1 for sure, but even if Maf gets lucky and removes Det from the game N1 we can still solve from there.
