We would still have information from Day 2 and be up one town compared to if we were to get it wrong on Day 1 if we voted to elim. Poke prod and inquire Day 1 for sure, but even if Maf gets lucky and removes Det from the game N1 we can still solve from there.


Objectively though would you refute that your posts lack substance?

Being up scummy town but being down an eliminate isn't actually a good thing though. Not all town is equal. It's different if there's a mechanical advantage, but the advantage you're offering is meaningless. I mean, you're an experienced mafia player right? Being up a town isn't actually an advantage?

tbh, Betsy's reaction to the no elim is way more town than trents. Betsy seems to be actually thinking about it, while Trent just seems to really want it. Not that it doesn't mean much in the scope of things, since idk if Trent!maf would play for a no elim this blatantly, but like, it's not unfeasible for mafia to try to avoid giving any reads just to avoid starting stuff.

ok but why. i asked sheep why he was so down for violence d1 but had nothing to add to it/ no feelers put on on who they'd wanna look at, they never responded.

I'm just going by past games and their pushing more for activity in beginning and elim as well - seems to match early town play in previous games. (I haven't seen them as maf yet though, so its only a lean town). I believe the time zones might be a factor in when people respond, but yes, I'll be looking for their response also.

Sure not all town is equal, but frankly I've been tired of mis-eliminations and the grandstanding that typically follows. Realistically I know that come EoD you all will have chosen someone, whether that's myself, Sidney, an inactive because "what if" or some manner of tomfoolery. From there yeah, sure we'll have a N1 kill and a voting list to work from along with posts from today should we end up killing town. I can suggest No Elim all I want, but as far I can remember when presented the option we give into bloodlust and remove the weakest or the scummiest.

Ok but this is an emotional appeal to no elim in a logical game. You act like bloodlust is an issue but if someone was going to get eliminated d1, than they're likely to get eliminated d2/d3 as well. By trying to "save" someone, you're giving town one less chance to vote off who they need to vote as well. I mean, just hope the detective gets lucky is a way for town to win. But it's not like you're backing it up with statistical odds either.

Speaking about bait - it's interesting that no one's jumped on the Sidney read at all. I mean everyone's observed the fact that Sidney hasn't made any posts/content, but it's interesting that no one is quick to jump on one read or another.

I’m very sorry!! I forgot that the game would be in a new thread and just checked notifications yesterday, so I thought that the game must’ve been starting late but I’m here now!
Like I mentioned in the other thread because of my timezone I won’t be able to be online right at EOD

As far as ww goes I was in a round on TBT last year with only two other people haha Otherwise I’ve played a few round with people on another AC forum, I tend to be eaten second

I quickly read through all of the posts now but I’ll have to go through them again to get everything that’s been said
