New Bugs and Fish in July for North Hemisphere! (Sea Creatures Guide Added!)

The ACNH.Guide app says they're only found on cedar/hardwood. I believe I got mine on a cedar. I have yet to see one on a palm tree.

Ok figured as much thanks! They’re going to be such a pain to find since I have hardwood/cedar trees everywhere lol

Really? What did they say? It’s not raining at my island so it would be neat to compare. If they are different, I wonder why it’s unique like the squid.
Update! Stayed up late and caught another cicada in the rain. I can 100% confirm there are different messages for rain and dry cicadas. I hadn't seen this one (I think I only caught it before after the rain stopped), but this one only makes sense if you caught it before because it's a play on how it says "better" in the original version. Dad jokes on dad jokes-- is that allowed?

I've caught everything but the hercules.

Haven't seen one, and I've been TT'g back and forth to fix my rocks. (Not to make a rock garden but other places. Turned out great and the mannequins are gone! )

woot one more to go for each type, just caught the gold stag. now due to the timing need to wait to get the stick bug then have them all. got 5 of each except for the gold and atlas, only saw one of each of those. The only hard thing i still need to do is find a napoleon fish

I still need the sunfish and 3 of the bugs. I didn't expect it to go this well. I'm quite happy with it. Its also a good way to bank some extra money, with all the bug hunting.

yeah i got really lucky, Flick chose today to visit me. So lots of bells for sure

I pretty much got everything except the giant stag, walking stick, and scarab beetle. Both appear very late during nighttime.

Does anyone know how the walking stick looks like? I never seen one after camping for nearly two hours earlier.

I caught the giant stag and scarab beetle between 6-7am. My approach is, if it's not common in the evening, maybe check in the early morning.

Also, the walking stick is literally a thin vertical stick with even thinner legs attached to it.

Are they situated on the ground just like those fake leaf furniture? :ROFLMAO: (I am thinking of a fake tree branch.)

Nope. They are attached to the trunk. They are easier to spot on the palm trees because the trunks are lighter. It blends well with cedar/hardwood trees. :/

Thanks a lot! No wonder I can't find them.

I always adore the seasons changing in animal crossing so much to do!

Thank you for building the spreadsheet. I'll have to print this off so I can check them off one by one.

Is Goliath Beetle suppose to be super rare? I am reminded that I've yet to find one. I don't want to fall behind one all these bugs.

No, at least not for me. I've got a bunch in storage. I'm just missing the golden stag. Also, the scarab beetle is definitely going to be my next commission.

I did have difficulty finding them last month. It might be easier to go to a mystery island, chop down all hardwood and cedar trees, pick all flowers and run back and forth along the beach. You might also want to bring your own fully grown palm trees so they have more chances to spawn. They show up at 5pm - 8 am only on palm trees.

That's a good idea
