Lana, who had been sleeping behind a counter of the coffee shop, finally awakened from her slumber, and went out to find some supplies and her next meal.

"Since I'm going to die soon, I'm going to change my name to... um... Cupa!" I said, my eyes lighting up.

(Nah, don't worry about it I know what it's like to miss stuff in a rp becuase of school...
I 'm debating whether to have Lucas come as a new arrival, or already be in the area, just in a different part until now...)

Lucas sat in the back of the truck, feeling every little bump as it drove along to God knows where it was going. He'd tried getting out, more than once in fact, but he couldn't. Eventually, the truck slowed down and then stopped. It appeared Lucas was at his destination. A moment later, a man in what somewhat resembled a hazmat suit opened the door, and grabbed onto Lucas, attempting to throw him out of the truck. Lucas resisted, elbowing the man in the face at least twice as he did so. He knew he was stuck wherever he was now and resisting couldn't change that, but Lucas decided that if he was going to be manhandled out of a truck he might as well give the guard in the suit something to show for it. A black eye, perhaps. Evidently Lucas wasn't much of a match for the guy, as he'd soon hit the dusty ground and the truck sped off before he even had the opportunity to stand up.

Seeing the new arrival, I walked over, attempting to help him up. "Are you okay?"

Lucas looked up to see a teenage girl, around his age, infront of him. With her help he got up, and he then proceeded to rub the dust and dirt that had gathered on him off. "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks. Oh, I'm Lucas."

"I'm Cupa." I said, gently brushing dirt off his face.

 

[Beardo]

"I'm Amethyst." The girl said. She was still subtly emamining Ko. He was cute...

Ko sighed in relief, relaxing when he realized that he could focus his attention now on one person at a time, since Cupa was distracted. "And I'm Ko. It's a pleasure." He greeted the new male, smiling warmly, happy to see another boy who was around his own age. He glanced at Amethyst, smiling sheepishly, before he turned towards the buildings.
"I'm going to search for supplies. There are bound to be others here, and I want to make sure we're not left without anything."​

"Can I come?" I asked Ko eagerly.

Ko looked at her with a curious tilt of his head, his cheeks reddening again with the blush that never seemed to stop.
"Ah.. If you'd like. I don't mind. I-I may need help bringing supplies back anyway."
He rubbed his head, not quite sure what he had gotten himself into, but smiled kindly to her anyway, glad to have company.​

"Great! I really want to get myself a knife!" I exclaimed happily, grabbing his wrist, leading him in the direction of the mall.

Ko shivered at bit at the sight of the ominous building. This view was like a shot straight out of a horror movie, the dark mall appearing to be the spot for "bad" people to hang out, and he glanced at Cupa, his eyes wide. She seemed to know what she was doing, but, he was still nervous about going towards this area.​

I started running towards it, a look of excitement on my face.

Ko kept up with her, jogging slightly, before letting go of her hold and watching to see if she would turn back to him.
"Cupa, I don't think that's safe..."​

"It's plenty safe! Can we at least try it?" I pleaded, holding both his hands in mine.

Ko slowly pulled his hands away, shifting his eyes aside before nodding slowly.
"Fine, we can try. But please be careful. I'll be right behind you."
He gently bumped her forward, wanting to get this done as quickly as possible.​

Without saying anything, I quickly ran into the dark building.
