Now that we've reached (or almost reached) all announced updates so faar... What next?

So, now that we know the update is dropping on the 25th and that Mario items will be available on March 1st, what do you think will come next? This is all speculation, of course. I think it's the first time Nintendo hasn't teased an upcoming update after showing the trailer of the current update dropping. Do you think we can expect an update on March or April?

My guess is that in March I really hope they show what they plan on doing with the game throughout 2021. Like announce new features or new improvements being added to the game. Since last year they focused on the events Its time for to focus on improving the game and introduce new features. Thats pretty much it.

but nintendo won't be allowed to stop updating the game until they have brought wolf link and sanrio characters back

I'm hoping for quality of life changes. I'm personally bored of holiday events. They're all kinda the same too if you think about it, just with a new coat of paint.

Please nintendo give us a quality of life update, thats what we need not more pointless holiday events. they really are the same thing more or less and previously stated). a while back a guy named nick ha was making fake nintendo update videos to show what we want(dk if he still is) but nintendo needs to watch then and learn from them. they were all really great quality of life updates.

i think, idk lol, i know nintendo are rereleasing the cards but i'm not sure if it's in all shops or just the nintendo website

but i got all 6 cards last year specifically to use in NH, which was pretty annoying for me when they weren't in it
since they're releasing them again, i don't see why they shouldn't be added

i just really want chai, etoile and chelsea
and wolf link ofc

Hopefully the missing npcs- mainly Brewster! Apart from that unless they want to interact with popular consumer requests/complaints I honestly don’t see them changing much.

Hopefully no more holiday updates except maybe April Fools. The focus on them seems to take away from them focusing on quality of life updates.

I want some QoL updates and the ability to sell my entire island for bells but keep my catalog just like in New Leaf. Since we can only keep one island at a time per switch, I would really love to have that feature.

I hope you’re wrong too because this will just end up turning more people away from the game for sure. NH is getting enough bashing from the community as is, especially from long time lovers of the franchise. Asking them for more money for stuff that should’ve been in the base game in the first place will just open the floodgates of hell.

this would be so great! i would also love to keep our learned diy recipes! just like if we were just moving islands, rather than starting over as a completely new person! it’ll never happen, but a girl can dream!

I wonder if the holidays will have new rewards... I probably won't be repeatimg any of them if there's nothing new. There's a lot of cute stuff they could do for Bunny Day.

Hoping for something big and exciting, too. Kappn taking us to a new island, new buildings or npcs, or getting a second mini island to decorate or as a shopping district.

Not holding my breath, but it'd be nice.
