Do you have any plans on October before the cold weather really sets in? Trips? Parties? Hiking?

I have 2 boxes of Halloween decorations I should probably bring out but dang I am lazy

My mother's birthday is on Halloween so we always do something.

My sister is getting married directly after.

No travel plans. My family is leaving next week, but I have school commitments. I had my fill of traveling during the summer anyways.

Sooooo much! lol! Starting with today, actually even though I know it’s technically not October yet 😂😂😂 I am teaching a fall wreathing making class tonight. In 2 weeks, I’ll be teaching a Halloween wreath making class and in 3 weeks I will be hosting a pumpkin painting and wine class!!! I started getting all my supplies for the pumpkin class on wed and I have everything all ready for the other 2 classes!

So far a relatively quiet month (for me anyway).

I was supposed to be going to Comic Con next weekend but the friend I was going with bailed. Still kind of bummed as I only bought a ticket because he asked for my company.

I'm seeing Murder on the Orient Express live with my best friend the second week of the month.

The following weekend we're hosting my girlfriend's cousin and her fiancé.

The weekend after we are going somewhere with one of my girlfriend's old uni friends and his partner. I think we are going to an aquarium or museum? The plan has changed more times than I can count.

Then I've been invited to a Halloween party but not sure I'll go. It's a big annual party our friends host that typically results in clubbing which isn't my scene anymore.

We are also trying to find a date to host my best mate and her husband for a board game night, an evening to visit my sister-in-law (she bought her first house a few months ago and wants to show off! - it was supposed to be today but she mixed up the time), we are organising an escape room, and we have tentative plans for double dates with two other couples (one for a cocktail making night at our place, the other going out for dinner & drinks). This will probably spill into November/December just because scheduling is a nightmare in our friend groups.

Oh and we are bringing home our kittens mid-October. 🥰

I hope to drive up through New Hampshire and Maine within the next week or two to see the leaves and get to see those two states for the first time! I'm excited. =D

We are going again to Lucca comics and games, a convention in Italy where the whole old city of Lucca turns into the convention venue! Also going to the free Gamecity event in my city. 😊

No plans for the month of October. I don't have paid time off during that month, so I won't be visiting my family in LA anytime soon. Also, it looks like my neighbors aren't decorating this year, so I shouldn't even bother with trying to impress trick-or-treaters.

I am looking forward to Christmas though.

I don't have any plans for October perse, but I expect things to pick up for me positively because I have several things I'm looking forward to this month that'll be happening.

I don't have anything big planned, but I'll probably bake a bunch of pumpkin recipes. Like pumpkin cookies and muffins. And some experimental with meat or stew.

October is my birthday month, and I like to do a lot of things because of that. I got a Dodgers playoff game lined up next Sunday, Disneyland a day before my birthday, tattoo appointment, a Halloween costume party, Halloween Horror Nights, and someone's gonna take me out for sushi I just don't know who yet. 😂

Canadian Thanksgiving, generally do something on Halloween…used to host a yearly Halloween party until Covid 2020, and I never really revived the tradition.

Huge horror fan, so all movies I watch in October are horror (or at the very least Halloween) themed.

i’m going to a Valley concert with my boyfriend! it’s our first concert together so i’m excited 😊

and i think i’ll finally finish my portfolio (once i decide to start it) for my master’s so i can finally apply for my degree and get that over with

Hmmm... I'll probably just play Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Also, since October is spoopy month, I'm just gonna enjoy watching spoopy stuff.

Gaming plans:
I plan on finishing Skyrim for once. I've played so many runs but I never seem to finish so I am going to try and complete every quest...and I mean every quest...well every quest depending which path I go down on and I always do Dark Brotherhood so I'll never do the Destroy The Dark Brotherhood quest. I will also go through Hogwarts Legacy. I recently bought it at discount price so I am eager to go through it as a Slytherin Dark Wizard lol.

Non-gaming plans:
We don't celebrate Halloween here as much as im other countries so many are just preparing for the Christmas holiday. I am going to moving into a new home so I am excited about that I guess.

my biggest october plan is dropping my brother off at his friend’s place on halloween so they can hang out LOL me personally, i will be spending the month indulging in autumnal baked goods and binging horror movies!
