Opinions on cheese?

Never tried American Cheese but cheese is life 😊😂

ok apart from blue cheese and goats cheese 😝

Agreed. I like cheese but blue cheese just makes me want to 🤮 I haven't tried goats cheese though

I think when American cheese is being mentioned, it's being referred to as processed cheese. Those are terrible...

i like cheese but i cant eat it by itself or anything w extra cheese >< mostly because of the cheese itself but my lactose intolerance doesnt appreciate it either lol

I'm pretty indifferent to most cheese. If the cheese is optional like a build your own burger or salad I leave it off. Grilled cheese and mac and cheese are great for an easy quick meal.

There's a smoked gouda that I can eat on its own but I need something with it for other cheeses.

I do love cream cheese and cheesecakes.

currently eating Parmesan pasta 10 minutes after eating shredded mozzarella.. maybe i have a little addiction 🥰

I love literally all cheese, but blue cheese and some other gross cheeses. I also love melted cheese on bread and cheese on meals and stuff.

I love cheese! I'm lactose intolerant, but I can typically handle medium-to-hard cheeses. The only cheeses I don't like would be softer cheeses like brie (likely due to my lactose intolerance, I'm naturally adverse to them), and gross processed cheeses like American, Velveeta, etc. Seriously, those are not even cheese. No offense 😋

Cheese is absolutely amazing!! I love all kinds of cheese, in any form or shape. My favourite has to be oscypek (smoked cheese made from sheep milk), but I'm from the part of Poland where they're made, so I'm biased. When I buy cheese from the store, I usually go for gouda, mozzarella or any type of smoked cheese 🥰

I cannot properly digest dairy, so I avoid it. The only time I have it is lightly on pizza to make it more filling.

I found out my body can't really handle dairy products well like cheese and so... I eat it anyways! I love it so much melted on things.

I'm lactose intolerant but I like cheesy foods now and then. My parents have owned an italian restaurant for over 12 years so I'm never short on my cheese fix lol. I get sick of it really quickly though.

American cheese is boring, and Swiss cheese lacks flavor. Mozzarella, Parmesan, cheddar, Gouda, pepper Jack, and Colby Jack cheese are pretty great. Does cottage cheese count? I love cheese. Whoever invented it must have been a great person. Except goat cheese. I can't have that. It doesn't like my stomach.

so this sounds really weird for me to say, but I'm not really a fan of cheese. now I'm obsessed with, like, the container of nacho cheese that you can buy at the store for chips, cream cheese for bagels, as well as Velveeta mac&cheese, but besides that I often find myself avoiding it. it doesn't help that there are tons of cheese varieties that I don't like, mainly swiss.
I was thinking about this because for lunch today I got myself a slice of cheese pizza, and I just took the topping off of it because I honestly don't really like it.

I also tend to have a weird reaction when I eat foods that are "homemade" and have cheese on them, including the things I mentioned above that I actually like. I think I might be partially lactose intolerant, or maybe there's just something in it that I can't handle. it hasn't been a big enough issue for me to really look into it though.

A double edged sword. I love it but I'm lactose.

I LOVE cheese, even blue cheese. My favorite is Muenster. The best cheese is soft and flavorful.

The only ones I don’t like are the super hard ones or the hipster ones with weird flavors (I had a blueberry cheese once and it was abhorrent).

Fake cheese does not like me. It makes my stomach do backflips.

Another lactose intolerant cheeser-adorer here 😅 it's just so delicious! Luckily my favourite cheese is a strong soft Goats cheese (especially grilled so it goes all golden ahh) which doesn't affect me, but I also love a lot of cheese, especially in certain combinations like stilton and walnut macaroni or brie and bacon sandwiches *swoons*

Wow crazy how many of you are lactose intolerant. It’s almost like you weren’t born to drink milk from another mammal?

I enjoy a lot of cheeses. Like most other people have mentioned though I'm not a fan of American cheese, it does just feel like I'm eating plastic. By "American" cheese I assume we're just talking about cheese from the United States though? Because when I visited Venezuela I had a lot of cheesy foods there and they were really tasty. Also not a fan of blue cheese either.

I can easily live without cheese though and am moving more towards a purely vegan diet. Cheese is just really easy filler food for like... a sandwich when I'm hungry but not in the mood to be creative.

I like cheese cold with crackers and green olives.

My favorties are queso fresco, feta, machego, edam, vermont white cheddar, and smoked gouda. I could eat a whole wheel of cheese in a week. They call me rat of 2 e.

To those who are lactose intolerant...L.
