pet peeves / lil stuff you cant stand

The amount of people I’ve unfollowed for thirsting after the United Healthcare killer…come on, guys! I get healthcare sucks in America, but killing is not the way about it! Annnd, a killer, really? Couldn’t find another crush somewhere else?
I’m sorry, WHAT? That’s beyond disgusting.

When there are two sets of stairs that are very busy and packed with people, one with people going up and another with people going down, there are people who just ignore the fact other people are going a specific direction and go up the one with people walking down and vice versa. I don't mind it if there's nobody on a set of stairs so going on one empty set would be quicker than the one with a couple people, but for the love of God just go up on the one with people going up and go down on the one with people going down. This happens a lot at school for me but I've seen it happen at other places.

People who complain about everything. Like I completely understand having a moan and a whinge about something the odd time, but people who have a complaint for every little thing that happens.

"Oh, I hate small towns here! Why can't they be like the cute French towns? This country is so ugly", "Ew, this food is disgusting" (while continuing to eat it happily), "Why does it look like that? It's so ugly!", "Ugh, I hate speaking Irish!" (then why are you on a trip to an Irish speaking locality?). It just annoys me.

It probably seems very ironic that I'm complaining about other people complaining lol

Excessive self-pity and passive aggression are some of the things that bother me the most. I used to be guilty of passive aggression myself but I’ve learned how hurtful it is; I honestly never really understand what it was until a couple years ago.

When people don't dispose their period products properly. Like, bro! Nobody wants to see your used tampon in the toilet! How hard is it to just throw away a used pad or tampon in the trash where it belongs!?

I don't like people who lie about what their interests just to get on someone's good side. I feel like lying about who you are to another people, breaks yourself esteem, and drags you down. You also don't look cool, your just lying to make others like you.

When ever I find out someone is lying to me about liking something I thought they liked, I always get really annoyed.

I don't really see the appeal of pretending to like something for the sake of others? Just be yourself. If people don't share your interests? Oh well, move on. Don't say you like what they like to seem cool.

I don't have a single friend who is into My Little Pony, but do my friends judge me about it, or pretend to love it for me? No. Do they respect that I love it? Yes. I can even talk about it with them, and they're cool with it. Simple as that. That's how it should be.

Fr. My sis says in the bathrooms at our school, there's the little adhesive sticker covers littering the floor as well. Why do people find it so hard to use a bin?? Especially because they're provided in my school, and because it's a small school the bins are never full.

People telling others how to write their fanfiction. I'm talking about stuff like using specific tropes or whatever in them.

There are more stories out there, the world doesn't revolve around you.

The reason why I'm saying this, is because I've seen people having discourse online.... mainly social media (because of course) about it.

I was robbed by Spotify today. They charged me twice this month for December 6th and December 13th. I showed them receipts and proof of account transaction, and they came up with every excuse to not reimburse me.

They told me they were charging me double for a grace period. So I showed them proof of payment and my receipt for November. They still wouldn't reimburse me.

My thoughts:

1: I'm never using Spotify again.

2: Thank you to my older brother. I told him what happened over text and he immediately sent me money to cover the loss.

Try and dispute this with your bank asap!

That brings me to another thing I was going to vent about.

Spotify didn't even have a phone support line. I don't want to speak with a bot on text chat if I'm having a financial dispute.

I had to fight to get a real person on there. I'm so tired of these giant corporations having non existent customer support

I'm going to switch to YouTube Premium. It's about the same in price as Spotify, but it comes with YouTube Music and makes all videos ad free. Which is nice since I use mobile and can't adblock there.

Spotify is annoying anyway, I've never used it before and I don't intend to ever use it. Ads don't really bother me that much, and even if they did, various adblockers exist. I'll continue using YT until the day it's no longer usable (or there's a better alternative), lol.

Oh my god, I feel your pain. I just had an issue solved with UPS that took A MONTH to resolve, me going back and forth with phone bots and chat help bots. Just kill me. It's awful. I ended up having to dispute the charge with my bank which worked successfully thank god. Still super angry with UPS. But trust me, dispute it with your bank, don't let mega corps win!
