pet peeves / lil stuff you cant stand

I was told that my twitter account was suspended and I was directed to the community terms of service.

mate what the actual hell is this, because I've never even posted on twitter.

I only use my account to occasionally read posts that my brother links me. How did I break any rules?

Reminds me I got suspended on Twitter several years ago for virtually nothing. I was only using the account to upload Animal Crossing screenshots. I did not break ToS. I did not break any rules. I didn't even comment on anything, and they still suspended me. I dropped that site at that point and never looked back, and seeing how things are now, I think I made the right choice. Lol.

whenever people (aka. my parents) tell me that im just making excuses or just flat out lying about something cause it doesn’t match their view of things ;-; it infuriates me cause im not even getting to tell my side, im just being told im wrong! >:[

I really hate it when I hear babies screaming in restaurants. I can’t STAND IT! If your child cries loudly, calm them down outside PLEASE!
The zoo is one of the worst places for this too…although it makes sense. But hey, I want to look at hippos in peace!

YouTubers who shout throughout their entire video. I didn't know it was possible, but it is.

I came across a video about how AI advertisement is poisoning the airways and throughout the video the YouTuber just shouts. I get that you're angry, but you are literally destroying your vocal cords.

Fully agreed. I don't get why people bring them to begin with. Leave them at home with a babysitter. No baby wants to be there at all and you end up just watching the parents not even enjoy their meals because they're too busy shoving random stuff at their baby to keep it quiet. When you have a baby, sorry but you cannot go out to some events with it until its older. That's part of being a new parent, you have to make sacrifices. But nah, better to let everyone else hear your baby.

Listen I hate babies screaming in public but unfortunately not everyone can afford a babysitter dude.

I would say just leave them with someone trustworthy enough that can look after them for a bit like a close friend or family member, I feel like that would be better than a babysitter anyway since it's someone you actually know who can take care of your kid instead of just some random person.

Then you don't go out, period. It's what you do when you have a kid. I know my parents couldn't go out to eat when we were young kids.

And also, if you can afford to out to eat, you can afford a babysitter.

VERY petty but whenever I search “Keith Lee” some food TikToker shows up and not the wrestler. I know I have to add “WWE” or “AEW” at the end, but come on. TikTok has grown so big, it’s obscuring some of my bois.

My favorite is the parents that change their baby so you can smell their diaper as you try to enjoy your meal lol. Why should I inconvenience myself by changing them in the bathroom or my car! It's not my problem if you'd rather not smell mushy poop when you eat.

Really hate it when I need to rely on Google searches to find solutions to tech problems and most of the non-Reddit/Microsoft/Apple/etc. websites use a clickbait title that has [SOLVED] or [FIXED] in the result. Almost every time I click on the link, it becomes an advertisement for some shady 3rd party program halfway down the page. Like yes, inadvertently injecting my PC with malware is going to solve all my problems.

The new Drag Race cast is probably going to be announced this week but I’m currently hyperfixated on pro wrestling. 😭 What to do, what to do…!

I know this is an unpopular opinion and its fine if you disagree but I can't stand self loathing single people on Valentines Day who hate the holiday only because they are single. Even as someone who is also still single I think having a holiday celebrating love is a good thing and people ruin the holiday for themselves because they only think about happy couples and that's it. Love isn't just exclusive to romantic or sexual bonds it can be a lot of different things like platonic love and self love and other stuff. Just do something nice with other people you care about like your friends or idk just do something nice for yourself instead of wasting your day on the internet complaining about how you don't have a partner for the 4th year in a row. You are making the holiday miserable for yourself by constantly thinking about stuff you don't have at the moment.

I got charged for Amazon Prime and I have absolutely no memory of signing up for it.

I suffer short term memory issues so I probably did sign up, but seeing that balance deduction hurt.

I really needed that money for Christmas shopping.

Ugh :c I'm feeling really upset about this.

I'm glad you got it resolved! But maybe change the password in the chance it wasn't you? I came across a credit card on my Amazon account that wasn't mine a long time ago. I don't know how it got on and I took it off and changed my pass when I found out about it.
