Nah bro, my favorite subject in school was dismissal.the best subject is… uh…lunchprobably biology.
So yeah TBT, where's that dislike button and complete ignore feature?? Where is it???![]()
Sorry it was a misunderstanding, that makes more sense now.The dislike button was mostly a joke to be honest. I HATE sites that implement this and if TBT implemented it, I would most likely leave.
The complete ignore feature, however, I'm completely serious about. I really don't think the current ignore feature is good enough because, like Alolan_Apples mentioned, people can still read and see your posts that you ignore, plus it doesn't completely remove everything on your end, either.
Posting for clarity's sake.
As to back up my claims on why the ignore feature should be a total separation between the sender and recipient, it’s not just to hide someones’ posts if you don’t want to read from them. It’s to stop them from communicating with you completely. The current ignore feature is basically saying “let’s pretend that the user doesn’t exist”. Except I don’t pretend stuff to differ from reality. It’s impossible. How can you pretend that a troll doesn’t exist if he keeps criticizing you when you want him to stop? You can add the troll to your ignore list, but that’s not going to stop him from criticizing you. You just won’t read his posts unless if you prompt to see his posts. If you’re being criticized for having different opinions, sexually harassed, or bullied in general, a complete separation is the only way to stop the offending user. That way, you won’t see their posts, they won’t see your posts, they will have a much harder time sending you messages, and you won’t be able to message them either. The only time they can read your posts is while they’re logged out.The complete ignore feature, however, I'm completely serious about. Yeah, I don’t always catch on to jokes very well, so I appreciate the clarity. I definitely agree with you about having a more customizable ignore feature though. The dislike button was mostly a joke to be honest. I HATE sites that implement this and if TBT implemented it, I would most likely leave.

Actually, no, I think the best class has to be band. Especially since that annoying prick that made the class unbearable was suspended (hopefully for the rest of the year).I think that now, the best subject is… uh…lunchprobably biology.
I'd heavily discourage people from trying to get around blocks/find out exactly who is blocking you*, because I don't think it's a terribly healthy thing to do for oneself—not to mention disrespectful of the blocker's boundaries, and makes them even less likely to change their view of you—but if it's just to view posts, logging out would have the same effect and be a lot more convenient.A block would give a two way total censor, but that may encourage someone to make another account to see whatever, which more than one account is something the staff doesn't like.
