I saw @/xSuperMario64x talk about a YouTuber named Zoomzike this one time and decided to watch him because he makes Mario videos. So I watched one video he made and then forgot about him for a few weeks, and then last week I remembered he existed and decided to watch more of his videos… and now I can’t stop…

You did this to me Bug!
Zoomzike is amazing lmaooo I wish he would continue his NSMB series!!

you could pull a Bug and binge watch every single one of his Identifying Luck videos multiple times 😂

My Driver's Ed instructor wanted us to introduce ourselves individually to our classmates. I wasn't really expecting it because it's not exactly the most personal class. (you don't interact much with the other students generally).

I felt so shy >.> I haven't actually talked in front of a large group in a while.

I wasn't bad at it, but gosh it's been a while since I've had to do that sort of thing.

I tend to listen to ambient albums such as this one when I want to feel at ease. While I mainly listen to '70s and '80s rock, my repertoire of other genres I listen to tends to be high. By the way, I wish I knew what this art style for that album cover is called - this is the kind of late-'90s/early-'00s abstract style I love looking at.

I was gonna say I’m at least impressed they went through the effort of (badly) photoshopping this together instead of using ai. But come to think of it, the background might be ai, especially considering that weird thing in the bottom left corner.

I’m having fun with the event but at the same time, I feel pretty stressed. I probably should take more breaks from my drawing. I’m not sure if was working on my drawing that got me feeling this way, or if I’m mostly still overwhelmed by how many activities there are not to mention earning enough tickets for what I want. I said to a friend that tbtwc was more overwhelming but now that I think more about it, I think for tbtwc, I was stressed only near the end.

Maybe I’ll feel less stressed once I finish Magnificent Memories and the invitation one. Also puzzle 2 😅.

Er... I guess that was a bit ominous. Happy thoughts all around. 😊

I can't believe it is August already. I think I'm glad July is over. It wasn't a bad month beyond dealing with flares but something about knowing it is a new month is helpful mentally. Sure we have new days every 24 hours but for some reason it doesn't feel as refreshing to me as a new month. I hope new days feel more refreshing than they do to me now in the future, as that would be helpful. But I wonder if the reason why a new month feels more refreshing is because months have vibes while days generally don't have unique vibes. Months are also associated with seasons and holidays.

Chiggers are creepy and I don't miss being bitten by those whenever I went near the water. It was one of the good things about moving.

Fingers crossed my order goes through.🤞

Some of the collectible suggestions I made back in 2015 became reality in 2024, thanks to the New Leaf event.
i’m actually very surprised that other animal crossing games have never been ported to the switch especially with the new horizons hype being over.

i think that a remastered/HD new leaf would be very popular.
I would agree. Yeah, they should refrain from adding features from ACNH in an ACNL remake, but they should at least fix some of the problems (like make unlocking PWPs easier, allow choosing Nookling expansion after unlocking the Emporium, and allow us to place villager plots without plot resetting).

This is neat.

Although...it's weird that it's just the red rescue version. Also I still wish I could just pay monthly for the expansion pass. I can't justify doing a full $50 for a service I wouldn't use actively.

I feel like not having that option to pay monthly is very anti-consumer.

I'm officially burned out from Pocket Camp. I've learned the event cycle by now:
  1. Grow a bunch of flowers, catch (and fail to catch) creatures, earn way too many special seeds to know what to do with. But hey, it's a good way to farm friendship powder!
  2. Go find the gyroidites! But wait, they're all at Lost Lure Creek! Want to find more right away? Too bad, there's only 3 of 'em at Breezy Hollow.
  3. Another fishing tourney. Yaaaaay. I caught a fi- HEY CJ, I'M NOT DONE YET!!! Oh, and when will your bug friend Flick get a turn in the spotlight?
Rinse and repeat about every month. As much as I would like to go decorate something, trying to get the items I need is a chore most of the time. This game needs some new events with actual different objectives.

A lot of times, when I talk to people, no matter how loudly I speak it feels like they never hear me. It makes me angrier than it probably should. I mean I hate it so much that it makes me just not want to talk at all lol. I’m clearly speaking up but people just don’t hear me the first time I say things. Maybe it’s a skill issue and I’m just bad at communicating.

Blue Rescue Team was a DS game and there aren't any DS games on Switch Online, so that's why it's just Red Rescue Team, a GBA game.

I also don't want to pay extra for the expansion, mostly because I have the family plan so it costs even more.
