Every 3D Mario game after the previous 3D Mario game, Nintendo gets more demanding that you must defeat the final boss if you want to get all of the stars.
  • Super Mario 64 - you can get all 120 stars before defeating Bowser one last time. Although, some stars already require backtracking.
  • Super Mario Sunshine - while you can collect 119 shine sprites before facing Bowser, you are locked out of the levels (except Sirena Beach) once you finish spraying down Shadow Mario in every level, and are required to go to Corona Mountain to access some levels’ 8th episodes. Also, there’s a blue coin and shine sprite at the Airstrip, which you can’t return to after the flood.
  • Super Mario Galaxy - the purple comet doesn’t even appear until beating the game, making Galaxy the first game where it’s impossible to get all power stars before beating the game. But you can get all of the main mission stars.
  • Super Mario Galaxy 2 - same as above, as some levels can’t be accessed before defeating the final boss.
  • Super Mario Odyssey - you can’t even complete all of the main pre-moon rock missions without beating the game.

The only thing I'd be careful about is that it's very easy to pick up swearing as a permanent habit and it's difficult to stop.

I was swearing a lot in highschool. I figured I'd quit after graduation but I still haven't been able to fully drop it.

This isn't an anti swearing PSA or anything. It's just something to keep in mind.
 
i hate it when there’s a young adult asking for advice regarding their parents on reddit and people are like “just move out” as if it’s that easy. (not having any problems myself, i’m just pointing out how unhelpful some advice is)

Apparently when the Senate is voting on a law, all 100 people are given a chance to speak for however long they want about whatever they want so long as they’re standing for the entire time, and they don’t stop speaking for more than 6 seconds. I would legit become a member of Senate just so I could ****post and read an entire 140 paragraph essay describing every bit of FNAF lore in detail just because it would be really really funny. 💀
 
I find it odd how people are judged for being adults who still live with their parents, especially if they're over 25. There seems to be some kind of stigma with adults living with their parents, and you might be expected to move out of your parents' house as soon as you turn 18. Of course, this doesn't apply to everyone.
 
Dire Dire Docks from Mario 64 is very forgettable to me.

Maybe because there was already a water level before this.

I didn’t expect to be able to afford a third extra mushroom so I got both the black and green shrooms too close together. It doesn’t look like I’ll be able to date trade for the death angel lamp to fit between the two bottom shroom. Big whoops. I’ll keep trying a bit longer though before I decide what to use the last of my sauteed mushrooms on instead if a date trade isn’t possible.

I’m tired and mentally drained. something is making me a little sick; it’s my fault though.

Also, I read through the Wiki page on this game and I realized just how many of the renders of characters in this game (Super Mario Party Jamboree) are reused from older games. I know that no one cares about this cause most people are normal, but I want new Mario renders. Give me more Mario renders!

I wouldn’t say it’s forgettable, I’d just say it sucks lol. Most of the missions are boring and it’s a water level. Jolly Roger Bay is slightly more interesting imo and the only redeeming qualities Dire Dire Docks has are the submarine being kind of cool (but disappears permanently after the first mission), and the music.

I blame the level placement for why I feel that way. It's smooshed into the middle of the game as a pit stop before the Bowser stage. It's not part of any painting cluster or major section of the castle.

If I'm not doing a 100% run, I'm almost always only going to get one star in Dire Dire Docks and never go back.

I've done 100% completion twice on Mario 64 and I can't even remember the layout of the stage besides the submarine.
 
I’m trying to stay awake since I have an 8 PM game session; having a bit of a hard time since the stuff that has been making me anxious really has sapped my energy and continues to.

Currently, the Astros have the longest League Championship Series streak, at 7 consecutive seasons. Records say that the Braves are the only team to have a longer streak, but since the Players’ Strike (biggest MLB controversy btw) disrupted their streak, that shouldn’t count, so really, the Braves’ longest LCS streak is 5 consecutive seasons.
 
Is it bad I nearly stayed up until 3am last night because brain couldn't stop thinking about how one of my OCs is such a chad? Because he do be a chad 👀💖✨️

Bunny Maloney is one of the most weirdest cartoons I've ever seen. Not to mention the show is partially lost media, with only some of the episodes being found.

As of writing this post, out of 52 episodes, only 30 of them have been found with 2 episodes being partially found and 20 of them being lost although most of said lost episodes are only available in French.
 
I really don't need to be working on these 3D models and game mods at 1am, yet here I am LOL
