Place your random thoughts.

After using my new PC for a few days, I think I'm tired of playing games at 180 fps. I'm amazed my computer can run games fast, but the smoothness hurts my eyes. From now on, I'll set most games to either 60 fps or 120 fps as a hard limit.

Yeah, the older Sonic games like Colors, Unleashed, Sonic Adventure, etc. are really better and the newer Sonic games don't really compare I'm afraid. Everything after Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric is mostly a miss, which is unfortunate for a video game series that used to be a lot of fun.
I mean, to be fair, I think they have been getting better recently. I haven’t played Frontiers or Superstars, but I think that Shadow Generations was really good, so Sonic Team is definitely capable of making good games (it got a 9/10 on IGN which has to be worth something since… it’s IGN, the biggest Sonic hater on the internet).

I'm convinced mommy only likes very specific kids..... 😢 the ones that are either too sour, or the ones that are either too sweet.

"Weed stick, moody plumage, spherical feelings of love and domination and ridiculous pink spinny thingy...are my greatest triumphs!" she said while eating spicy Cheetos mac n cheese.

There are times that I'll listen to certain songs (mostly soft/yacht rock), and imagine myself being transported into some fantasy Animal Crossing world where I hang out with my favorite villagers, not worrying about a thing in life. For other genres (hard rock being one), I begin to formulate a music video in my mind of certain villagers rocking it out on a stage or simply performing.

Man, I really want to make those thoughts into TBT Journal stories again...

spongebob is funnier watching as an adult. but do you know what’s (arguably) even funnier? the amazing world of gumball.

I can’t believe the amount of shows Tress MacNeille’s voice has been in…! I recognized it for the longest time but never knew the lady’s name. From The Rugrats, to Hey Arnold, to The Simpsons, to Futurama…and many others. The fact that she’s friends with Elvira/Cassandra Peterson makes her even more awesome.

There aren’t a lot of new conversation topics either, so there’s not much to post even if you are up to it. I frequent the Off Topic boards, and the activity there is low with the exception of a few threads.

Maybe things will pick up once a larger event is announced (ie. Camp Bell Tree or The Bell Tree Fair)?

There was a study proving that the original Super Mario Bros is harder than Calculus, basically saying that people would have an easier time passing Calculus than beating SMB.

I can agree with this if we’re talking about differential calculus or Calculus 1 material, but I can’t say the same for integral calculus or Calculus 2 material. The worst part about Calc 1 is the Chain Rule or the related rates applications, and even that is a breeze compared to half the maths I studied in college.

I swear to god dude what the hell is with kids toys these days. Sometimes when I go to Walmart I go to the toy asile to check out all the lego sets they got to see if there's anything new that catches my eye, and next too the Lego I see all these other toys that for some reason have a strange common theme of stuff with poop or playing with poop. Why are we encouraging kids to do that? I understand stupid toilet humor is common with very young kids but do we really have to make dolls that have a pooping mechanic? Stuff like this is litterally exactly how people develop scat fetishes and I feel like it's really creepy to market that kind of thing to children.

Sometimes I get into that awkward situation at school where I did the homework, but I don’t know if I’m supposed to turn it in or the teacher forgot. Because if they did forget then me turning it in would remind them there was homework and then I would look like a teacher’s pet when really, I just care about my grade. But if they didn’t forget and I just didn’t notice when we were supposed to turn it in, then I would just fail the assignment even though I did it. I hate it so much lmao.

I like the free 10 bells per day thing.

I haven't really gotten into the events here. I just come here to post casually and my posts aren't very wordy either.

For me, collecting bells can feel very, very slow.
Oh yes, it's amazing! It always been difficult for me to post a lot and even harder to post with many words, so most of my bells were from Events or from selling one valuable (at least from my perspective) collectible some time ago.

We award bells in some of our events. Staff hosted TBT Neighborly Games sessions always offer bells.

Oh? As stated, I'm aware the events give bells, however I just haven't gotten into them.

Life has been rather unkind towards my availability so I couldn't participate in the ones that interested me.

It's only my first year being active on the forum. So, maybe I can look to being more involved next year!

My dad said he was on the phone with his cousins and one of them was just… having a seizure, but he said he didn’t need help. Then he had another seizure and everyone wanted to take him to the hospital but he said he was fine, and eventually he passed out and they took him to the hospital while he was unconscious. But by then it was too late and he died. I don’t get how my dad just said that without all seeming upset. Like wth. This is the third time in the past three months that I’m hearing that some random relative I’ve never met before is dead now.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
