Nintendo just announced on Twitter a Pokemon Direct for tomorrow!

Guess it's time for Gen 8?

Eh, Switch or those joke Go games so probably not interested, unless they were actually to make something 3ds.

Guess it's the starters or at least I hope so. Whenever a new Gen comes out, the starters are the ones I'm most curious about.

I knew it! The tour guide of each generation on YouTube Pokemon was uploading every day was referencing to this.

Now what this has to be is either Gen 4 remake or Gen 8. Most likely Gen 8 because you can tell Ash’s adventure in Alola is ending, as he’s in Poni island.

Then again, remakes of Pokemon games and supposedly sequels/differentiations of the former generation of the game that released last year or two usually gets announced in May/June, so I’m certain this is Gen 8.

remakes are always released after the main gen X games came out.

( fire red and leaf green came after ruby and sapphire, HG/SS came after diamond and pearl, OR/AS came after X/Y )

so it's gonna be Gen 8 ( if they talk about pokemon fo the switch )
which they probably won't.

i stand by my earlier comment, it's probably gonna be a pogo announcement of gen 4.

( because they really don't care about us fans, you know.. ? )

I hope for Gen 8 reveal and a new mystery dungeon game for switch, but it'll probably be gen 8 and some free eshop thing.

Oh well, news is good, and I can't wait for tomorrow!

I hope it's Gen 8, don't really want a Gen 4 remake at this point or a remake of another Gen. A new Mystery Dungeon game for the Switch would be nice too, but I guess something like this would be announce at a normal Nintendo Direct (at least I can't remember a MD game being announced at a Pokemon Direct?).

But who knows, maybe we're all wrong and they just gonna announce Pokemon Snap 2...?

I highly doubt that. They don't hold Nintendo Directs for Pokemon GO, at least not to my knowledge.

Besides, Gen 4 has been out for quite a while on PoGO.

Gen 8 woooooo. I sure hope it's a prettier game than let's go. Let's go distinctly feels thrown together and low effort. I think The mainline series game will look better since they're now better acquainted with the switch hardware.

If it was gen 8 on the 3ds like some people want I think I'd laugh so hard I'd vomit.

I hope it's going to be GEN 8 for the Switch, but only if they show some gameplay.
Honestly I need some interesting gameplay to keep me hyped because of the lack of Animal Crossing Switch content.

Gen 8 please! I'm not one for Pokemon remakes.
If gen 5 comes out on PoGo, that's a bonus for me. That's the generation I sort of hopped on to the Pokemon train with, and even though it's unpopular it's familiar to me.

No, joke aside I just hope they'll once and for all stop pretending 3ds is dead by removing things piece by piece like spotpass and miiverse yet the console sell like butter and ppl still play both gen 6 and 7 3ds and whatnot games.
