This right here, in that you can't actually take a step back and admit your flaws shows just how arrogant and immature you really are.

Again, as I've said before, it's not about being right. It's more about being surprised that people have to be told things in order to believe it. It's like seeing a guy getting stabbed to death, but you're the only one saying the guy died. All the other people say he walked away fine until they hear on the news the guy died.

You claimed that what I said was pure speculation. All I did was try to prove to you that it was not conjecture or a silly theory I came up with at the time: it was backed up my cold, hard evidence that people are only accepting now that Masuda has said it's out (mind you, with the same reason I've mentioned ever since the SSB reveal). It was never a question of me being right, because I knew for a fact that it wasn't going to be in the game. I'm just surprised that people have been able to live in denial about it for so long, so far even that the leaks from a few pages back weren't confirmed fake for you guys until claims other than trainer customization were proven fake, even though this feature had been shown to be cut since early July.

All I've been doing so far is reacting to people's posts and queries. If that comes across as arrogance and immaturity to you, then that's fine. But in that case, the fact that you're posting in this thread should lead to the same conclusion.

I don't remember exactly what your trainer class was based on, but the trainer was indeed replaced by an NPC trainer with their name. However, in G6 there has been no usage of NPC trainers as player avatars (outside of the PSS) due to customization. The QR code you can scan in OR/AS should carry enough data to include trainer values, meaning customization should easily be able to be included in the game. I assume that the trainer class can be changed like in G4 and G5.

To reiterate, I was just reacting to people's posts. I wasn't trying to escalate an argument or calling in my friends like a certain someone was, merely defending my point that everybody was and probably still is misunderstanding. I don't see how reacting to people, like I'm doing now, is such a heinous thing. But if you want me to stop posting, so be it.

I think you'll be able to pick your trainer class like you could in G4 and G5. You just change it on the trainer card, though it might have been changed in OR/AS.

I know I'm going to go with the default names. I'm surprised that Brendan is called Orlando in the demo, and wonder if May will have a similar kind of change.

No idea. It might also just be a name given to him in the demo. Characters haven't been renamed in previous remakes, with Red and Ethan keeping their name, while Leaf and Lyra were new characters (though it can be argued that Lyra was a variation on Kris). I don't see a reason for them to start changing official trainer names now.

Not a big deal to you perhaps, but what of others who only go in just for the code and have the game pre-ordered elsewhere or just don't have the money to put $5 down? Gamestop Customer Support implores people to call in to report any rogue stores pulling this kind of crap because if they keep doing this, they will undoubtedly strain their relationship with Nintendo.

I'll probably go Ace Trainer like previous games or a Veteran if they're there this game. I dunno about naming the characters based off their true names. Brendan will undoubtedly be named after myself and May might be May.

Hackers have dug into the demo and are already dissecting it for new information. Apparently this was included in the game along with a majority of other information. They're still digging and apparently only 4 unknowns remain. Kinda sucks if true.
