I've been hearing rumors that Fire types appear at gas stations?? Also that weather affects appearances too...
Wondering if I should hunt for a Growlithe around the gas station on the way to the park lol

I found Charmander in the dairy/produce isle at a Walmart, and I haven't seen any other fire types since then...

I just started and so far I have Charmander, 2x Pidgies, 2x Rattatas, and a Venonan! There's a police station right across the street from me which is a gym and it's also next to a park which has like 5 PokeStops inside cause I guess it has a bunch of WWII memorial stuff inside. I guess Pokemon can really teach you something.
My dad's been wondering why I want to go everywhere with him now lmao. Go get the oil changed? Hell yea, it's next to a Pokestop! Go grocery shopping? Let's do it, there's probs some pokemon there!

The two 5k eggs I just hatched after all this time sucked. I got a Drowzee and a Female Nidoran. I immediately evolved that Nidoran though, because she had a decently high CP, and I just had enough candies to evolve her, so that was nice I guess.

Today, while I was out, I seen someone playing it and they nearly got hit by a car. Seriously. I knew they were playing it because they had a friend with them and I overheard them talking it. Just be careful out there, guys. This whole thing terrifies me. I think I'll stick to exploring digital worlds.
Is it okay to ask questions here? The game hasn't released in Europe yet but I managed to get it anyway through a link. I've been using it today and I noticed it takes up a lot of data and I really can't manage it like this. Is there a way to use it with less data usage or without internet at all (I heard downloading the map of the area you're in does something, but I still can't play without internet)?

Yeah, this is getting really frustrating/scary. I thought it would be cool before it was released because I imagined going for walks out in the country-side and catching Pokemon. Y'know, like it is the the Pokemon games. I didn't know the most activity would only be available in the cities and larger towns. I live in the country and I've been level 4 (can't really do much at level 4) since day 1. I leveled up by taking a 20 minute car ride (as a passenger) and i've never been to a poke stop. There is nothing within walking distance for me and there is no way in hell I'm loading my baby up in my car and going for a drive just to play this game. Pokemon won't even appear near my house at all. I thought the appp wasn't working at first.

Trying to find that out as well. Arcanine is my favorite.
Oddly enough I've found rarer Pokemon so I have no idea. Supposedly it's not that rare.

I've mostly been finding Growlithes in a park nearby me and if I remember correctly I caught one in the parking lot of a gas station/grocery store.

Speaking of Pokestop is there a limit on how many times you can access it and get pokeballs or eggs or potions from it ?..

I don't think so, from what I've noticed you just have to wait about 10 minutes and you can get free stuff again
Pokestops reset every 5 minutes so if you really need to restock just wait around.
