The most PokeSpots I've seen in 1 place so far. This is a local college, across the way from a major mall. Funny thing is the mall (biggest in town) area doesn't have jack for Gyms or PokeSpots, but just down the street is an explosion of them xD

Is it okay to ask questions here? The game hasn't released in Europe yet but I managed to get it anyway through a link. I've been using it today and I noticed it takes up a lot of data and I really can't manage it like this. Is there a way to use it with less data usage or without internet at all (I heard downloading the map of the area you're in does something, but I still can't play without internet)?

It shouldn't be using a lot of data. You probably have a virus version. Sorry it's not available in your country and that people are taking advantage.

I can't really play Pokemon Go on vacation because the app hasn't been released in China yet, so I haven't been able to see any Pokestops, gyms, or Pokemon (though the GPS works for some reason)

Also how are people encountering Pokemon in their house?? When I move around my house I don't move on the map. This goes for any location really, like the store or whatever.

It's just random/chance. They do move around you know

They keep writing articles in my newspaper about people tripping or walking into things while playing Pok?mon Go. Really? lol The game does look fun though. Many of my friends have it and I am kind of bummed I don't have a smartphone.

I still haven't been able to play because with one email it crashes every single time I tap on a Pokemon so I used a different email and this one crashes every time I select accept on the accept or decline thing right before you can play, kms.

I was walking with a friend who has the app and I was happily surprised to find out that my town contains quite a lot of Pokestops and Gyms! I counted at least 30 on our walk I believe. The best thing we caught was a CP 105 Drowzee...

My other friend saw Jigglypuff on their radar, but as it was three footprints away we knew it was too far away to even attempt locating it.

I mean it works in your backyard. As for how much enjoyment you'll get depends on the size of your yard. My yard is very small so the game really doesn't notice a difference whether I'm inside or outside when it comes to changing my location on the map lol, so any Pokemon I could catch outside I could just as easily catch inside.

I'm so relieved that a found a pokestop at my local mall. Stocked up 4 times today and got two eggs out of it. And I go there everyday for the city for courses so while I wait I just walk around and capture Pok?mon. Thank you, Mall, for gifting me with Wi-Fi!

When I'm in my house or something like a store, moving around inside barely makes me move on the map. Not enough for Pokemon to appear... They need to fix that so the map "expands" when you're inside a building allowing you to hunt for Pokemon inside.

Maybe change it so your own house doesn't get very many appearances though, idk

Same. This is why my highest is 160 CP. I find nothing no matter where I go.

I've been looking forward to it for a long time. Now it's here and I'm having so much fun! I do wish it were a bit more like the normal games (battling wild pokemon rather just throwing pokeballs at it, for example) but it's a great start.

Just hatched a Meowth from my 5k egg, I'm fairly pleased since it's the first Meowth I've seen/caught even though it's kinda common. Pray for me guys, that my 10k egg will produce something amazing, like a Lapras, or Mr.Mime. I really want those two. My 5k eggs have been mediocre, and I only have 1 5k left. I have 4ks to travel before my 10k hatches, and everything else I own is a 2k egg -_-

I also just claimed my first gym with my Golbat. Yee, I hope some people reinforce my gym before some other team comes by.

ah, that's awesome! congrats! :> my highest pokemon is only 252 so I won't be claiming a gym anytime soon ; v ; I can't wait to feel better so I can head back to work, back to the promised land haha XD
