I've been looking forward to it for a long time. Now it's here and I'm having so much fun! I do wish it were a bit more like the normal games (battling wild pokemon rather just throwing pokeballs at it, for example) but it's a great start.

They're probably trying to keep people moving, rather than standing, as people have unsafe habits despite the game offering warning to be wary of one's surroundings.

I've yet to try the app for myself, but I'll be giving it a go in a few minutes (hopefully).

There's news about Niantic already working on additional features such as trading!! I'm excited. I wonder how that will affect gameplay though..for example U.S. players got a head start over us canadian players..If trade was enabled what if I got a high lvl pokemon from them and beat one of the gym leaders around me? Just wondering how fairness would come to play. But I am really looking forward to trading nonetheless.

Same. This is why my highest is 160 CP. I find nothing no matter where I go.

My highest is a 99 CP Clefairy lol I hate this I need to go out more.

I was thinking the exact same thing the other day!! I really hope they don't end up doing that because then it just becomes people showing off what they have and asking for Pokemon that are super impossible to find and that gets so annoying :/

I'm having mixed results with this game. I live in suburbia and the Pokestops are kinda farish and located in places where I normally wouldn't go. And I don't have anyone to go with me aside from my kid. My highest is like 340 only because I kept catching rattata. My boyfriend on the other hand, him and his friends go out and catch a good amount of Pokemon and they're close to a collage campus that has a **** ton of Pokestops. I'm hoping that if they do trading, that they add restrictions. IE same team, close range etc. Otherwise it'll be broken as hell.

I haven't been able to go out too much, because my foot is in a cast, but I still managed to hatch a few eggs and made it to level 8. The game crashed and gave me an error this morning while I was trying to catch an Eevee. Luckily, another one finally showed up at my house a bit earlier, and I managed to catch that one.

Even though the game isn't officially out in Canada yet, there are already several people playing in my town, as well as the cities around me.

My app has been crashing and acting weird even more after the update. I'm hoping it's because right now is probably a high traffic time for using the app :/ it's pretty annoying when it just stops working while I'm catching a Pokemon and it's happened numerous times today.

Also, I'm not sure if this is true or not, but if it is I hope it helps some people!

I was wondering if the only way to take pics with Pokemon are the ones you are about to catch. Or is there a way to take pics with the Pokemon you have gotten so far instead of only using them in gyms for battles.

I lost a bulbasaur to freezing ; v ; I did the requisite 10 seconds then closed out, went back in and was hoping it would respawn, but no luck u.u

Well, there kinda is alot to complain about. It's challenging, dangerous (for some people), and it's still full of bugs. The only thing to do about it though, is to try and enjoy it, flaws and all. It'll get better the longer it's out, I'm sure. I'm trying my best to be optimistic about It though, because I'd been waiting for this game since the initial rumors were leaked. I'm loving this game, regardless of the bugs and all c;

I actually got to go out today, but the part of town I went to only had 1 Poke Stop & a gym (both were at churches right beside each other, surprisingly). Ah, well. I got 3 pokeballs and finally hit level 5, but I didn't reach level 5 until on my way home...which means I need to go back to that gym to pick my team!

Hopefully I'll have more luck on Saturday in a different part of town.

I know I've gotten this to work before but it's like the gps can't decide where I am
