Really? I actually had no trouble with Ilima to be honest. I just spammed Razor Leaf on Datrix and that seemed to do the job.

Bless. What level were your pokemon? My Pichu is at 12 and my Popplio is at 13 and I'm getting creamed.
I found out the only way to get Mareanie. Thank god for Youtube. You have to find a Corsola, and battle it until it calls for help. Mareanie is an ally that Corsola can call upon. Try using the adrenaline orb, if you have it!

The adrenaline orb is just to help the search though. It's not necessary.

Go for it! Make sure it has the ability Merciless. And teach it Toxic and Venoshock. It'll help tons! When it evolves, make it learn Baneful Bunker as a replacement for Toxic.
Oh I planned on finding one with Merciless. It'll probably take a while though!
Here are some others I came up with:
- Sandshrew (if you are playing moon)
- Gible (if you don't mind it being a pseudo)
- Mareanie (new urchin pokemon, though visually it's not too appealing)
Sandshrew would cover the ice type you lack and would also counter fairies with its steel-typing. Gible is a powerful ground type to counter those pesty electrics and will be really speedy and powerful while doing so. Mareanie will cover your lack of water, and will counter those fairy types with its poison typing.
