When I get Lunala, I'm going after the nature. Because i'm a competitive player.

Well to be official
decidueye named him soren (I love the owl movie)
Ribombee named her gylfie (also from the owl movie)
Alola riachu named hakuna I wanted an alola name
Salazzle named her it's lit because for me sound like (isle-y) so a combination of saying almost island and plus she fire
Those 4 are my official
the other 2 I have for the moment it's
Mudsdale named muddycoco (he muddy plus I used to ride a horde name coco)
And an alola grime just because I don't have no other Pok?mon I want to carry with me just now so I'm using to complete pokedex
The other 2 who will be officially on my team and haven't caught are
Alola sandlash and jango-o (the dragon pokemon)
They will be named
Slachyz (like my first sandlash in hoen where I used for another team that pokemon) and scaluiem (sound strong and fitting for him)

Agreed, that was definitely my hardest fight in the game thus far despite being overlevelled for it. Having to face max evolutions at that point in the game is definitely a great step up.

I think I should get a Pichu for Alolan Raichu. Electric and Psychic right? I have Magnemite (soon to be Magneton) but if I find a Riolu I'll have two Steels on my team. Plus I was hoping for a Psychic type so it would fit in nicely.

I'd vote Gengar. He was an incredible asset to me in HeartGold what with his amazing speed and special attack. He can learn lots of good moves too like Dark Pulse and Psychic.

Just caught one, but it's only level 5. How am I supposed to work it into my team when I'm 30+?

Well, give it a soothe bell, try to make it win lots of battles and never loose. And massage it at Konikoni City.
Make it battle some water and flying types that give out lots of EXP. And i'd recommend the Pichu to learn Nasty Plot, you're gonna need it.
