I'm allergic to nuts, so I obviously can't have pecan pie. So I kind of have to go with pumpkin pie. I prefer custard pie, though. I miss the place that used to make it. =(

Oh gosh, I like pecan but definitely prefer pumpkin because I actually remember what it tastes like!

My grandma's from the South, and she used to make pecan pie at every holiday, but I've never liked it. Sorry grandma!!!
I love anything with pumpkin in it. Where I live, there's a small number of "hip" places you can go to in the fall that serve homemade pumpkin soup in the fall. It's one of my favorite thing about fall!!!

If your pumpkin pie is normal, bland, and boring, you must just be eating that canned junk found in the grocery store. Eating it fresh is awesome.

this was the hardest decision ive made in a while

pecan can be too sweet sometimes and pumpkin can be too bland

in the end my heart goes out to pecan bc its got the good cronch aspect to it instead of the custardy consistency of pumpkin pie

Oooo, just what I needed to get in the fall mood

I knew it wouldn't be the popular choice, but pecan pie is literally perfect to me. Don't get me wrong, I'll eat pumpkin, but I just LOVE the way pecan tastes.

Why can't we have both?

The superior choice is clearly apple pie. I chose pumpkin pie because it's sweet and soft. Plus, I hate accidentally cutting the walls of my mouth and gums when chewing nutty food.

I don't know that I've had either but I'm gonna say pecan because I've at least had pecan pastries whereas I don't think I've ever had pumpkin before!

I like both, but ultimately I chose pumpkin because I love all things pumpkin flavored. That's right, I'm one of those basic pumpkin spice latte girls.
