Quick question on villagers thinking about moving!

So I have Fauna, whose thinking about moving right now (She's thinking and walking around my town currently) I didn’t speak to her yet because I was wondering if by not talking to her, will she continue to be in thinking mode until I'm ready for for to move? In other words, can I leave a villager in think mode for the rest of the time for however long until I actually talk them or will they eventually stop thinking and continue on with life or just move away?

I want Fauna to move, she's one of the ones I want to get rid if eventually as I'm currently looking for Diana and I'm not ready to make her leave until I find Diana. I don't want it to go back to random villager RNG if I do let her stay though either because its a pain in the rear to try to get her lol

Did you check if it’s a moving bubble? You can talk to her and just reset just so you’re sure. The moving bubble stays on a villager for a day and then the game will randomly select again. The next day it could be a different villager or it could still be Fauna.

Well if you refuse to talk to her all day and you wait too long until the next day the thought bubble will go on a different villager who will think about moving out. It usually depends on which friendship you have the villager at. If you have Fauna at a lower friendship then you have a high chance of letting her move out, however if you have at a really high friendship there is a chance that the villager is not thinking about moving out but instead will ask you about a nickname or a gift they want to give you.

If you try to time travel backwards DO NOT do it, because it can sometimes ruin the chances of a move out thought bubble and if you choose to do that while Fauna is in boxes it can sometime cause the game to glitch your villager where they are no longer on your island but their home is still there. If you really want Diana which is the villager you want, you might want to go on trading sites like Nookazon where if someone does have Diana moving out, you have to get rid of Fauna first so you have an open plot for Diana to move in.

Trust me it is complicated with the villager move out process and it takes a long time to do this, so if I was in your shoes, I would go on a trading site and ask anyone if they have Diana in boxes, before I let Fauna move out.

She'll wander around thinking for a little while but eventually it will switch to another villager considering to move out.
Also if the day rolls over it's more or less randomized who want's to move out.
She'll probably ask to move out again soon if no one else moves out.

Great idea! I didn't think of Nookazon! Yeah, the bubble stopped appearing over her head after a bit of me ignoring her so odds are is another villager will want to move out now, but now that I know about friendship levels that makes a lot more sense on the odds of someone moving so I should be ok with the cycle. Glad I can help and trust me as someone who used to do villager trades last year it is a pain trying to get the right villager to move out because of how RNG the game is when it chooses of which villager should have the thought bubble.

Oh, I believe you haha It really is a pain! I'll always get frustrated with having the wrong one trying to move and I'll just sit there for hours trying to get that one specific animal to move and it will like, go back to the one that I don't want to move like 3 times!

If I could have one tiny wish that this update clmjnv up could have had, it would have been to be able to kick any villager we want out
