Kaida's face turned normal, She remembered Takumi's words when he held her captive, "Tell anyone who I am, or what I did to you and your done, I will kill you myself. I'll make you suffer a slow painful death." "I was just suprised to see him, hes an old friend." Kaida laughed it off. "My name is Takumi, and what Kaida says it true. I'm here looking for any signs of life, and that looks like its you guys." Takumi replied.
She glared at Kaida. "That's the most bull**** thing I've ever heard." She looked at Takumi. Something was incredibly off about him, especially with Kaida's behavior.
"No, no, no, really, I know him." Kaida smiled. Please believe my lies, if you don't I'm going to die. Kaida thought to herself. Takumi smiled and sat down next to Kaida. He put his arm around her.
She ever so slowly brought down the glass. She was incredibly doubtful of what they were telling her. A little ways away, though, she could see a baseball bat with rusted nails sticking out of it lying on the ground, still in good condition. She couldn't resist and ran after it, picking it up. The weight of it was heavier than she expected, but still good enough for her to carry.
"Well, we used to be friends when we were little kids. He moved away for a while and then came back, he's actually my boyfriend, I promised him before the war I would come back and find him, looks like he found me." Kaida looked at David. "Thats right!" Takumi replied while grinning. Takumi kissed Kaida's cheek to make it more believable. Kaida gave a sweet smile when he kissed her.
Yumi smiled once again. She seems like a harmless little girl, she told herself. She shook Yuno's hand. "What happened to your parents? Where are your parents? And if they're not here now, would you mind me taking care of you for now? I mean, I don't want you to get lost in this empty city." She told Yuno. Yumi thought she was being a bit overprotective, but Yuno was a tad little to be here, around people she doesn't know. She doesn't know me either, but I can get to know her once I take care of her. I'd want kids of my own, for goodness sake.
Yuno smiled up at her. "My... My mommy and daddy fell from my apartment when it was... uh... bombed. It was just a big boom and then they went "THUD!" at my feet. I miss them, but I'd like it very much if you took care of me." Yuno grinned even wider, getting up from her position on the cold concrete floor. She popped out her suitcase handle and gripped her fluffy brown teddy bear tightly, not wanting to drop it on the way to wherever she was going to go with Yumi.
"Okay, I'm going to take you to meet the other people outside somewhere." Yumi told the little girl. She took Yuno's suitcase for her, and held her hand.
She could overhear them talking about how they were actually in a relationship.
"Please," She muttered. "Any relationship they'd be in would be an abusive one." She looked over at them warily.
