The next batch of Shiny mons I've encountered these past couple of days (with the Shiny Charm active) From high above the sky, I quickly snapped a pic of the twinkly twinkles that indicate a differently-colored monster in the field. This Luxray was a random encounter and not part of a Mass Outbreak.

Here it is side by side with its partner. I never noticed that Shiny Luxray have orange-colored stars at the tip of their tails instead of the standard yellow. Overall, a very nice Shiny specimen.

Playing with DEATH has never felt so good I love Rhyhorn, so having this big boy charging at me was exhilarating~ what a beauty!

Ugh....... This was bound to happen at some point... The ONE shiny I never wanted to see in this game... Well, besides Stantler...

​

I normally like to keep Shiny mons in the stage they were caught in, but because this is Gen 8 and not Gen 2.....

What an improvement! (it took too long for my liking for a full moon to finally appear...)

No lie, I spent half an hour trying to snap the perfect pic of this happy blue ducky but the one behind me be a little too comfortable tho

I want to share my new blue duck!! This little one showed up practically right after I unlocked the second area last night. ;m; Was hardly expecting a random shiny this early on but I love her and her goofy clipping through the ground antics. (I have never figured out how to send pictures straight from the Switch so excuse the picture of a screen quality).

I've only ever gotten Shinies in Pokémon Go (they practically hand them out like candy) but my favorites that I've gotten so far are shiny Porygon and shiny Stufful (who I can now evolve omg)

I’ve caught a ridiculous number of shiny psyduck, I think I’m at 7 now. The first was in let’s go and that was the second random shiny I had found at that point. Then one while I was flying around in the mirelands before I completed the story in Arceus. Two more from mmo’s and the rest I just happened to walk by.

I mean I like psyduck but I think gamefreak is heavily pushing for me to be the ultimate psyduck master

In X, I was in the Ice Cave looking for a Vanillite for my Dex and I got a hoarde of them and literally right in the middle was a Shiny! I was not even looking for a Shiny. I KO’d the others and caught the middle one and evolved it all the way into a Vanilluxe. I nicknamed it Grape Ice and it is currently in my main Sword game. I also was ambushed by a Shiny Durant during my first play through of X and I caught it and nicknamed it Ambush.

Nice. Only Shinies I’ve caught in Go were Meltan. I did hatch a Shiny Murkrow from an Egg given to me by a Go Friend though but that’s it for the App.

Let's start with this frozen, questionably-colored little guy.... You know what they say: don't eat the yellow snow. But it seems this guy didn't listen.... tasty?

Let's play a game: SPOT THE SHINY!! did you guess the slightly bigger specimen on the left? No? Is it the one on the right? Yes? Maybe? What, you can't tell? Well, neither could I at first, not without the sparkles indicating which one was which. Thank you, Game Freak, because we all want shinies that barely look different. Even with Bidoof the difference is noticeable, but only from up close.

Now here's a little guy I had hoped to encounter one day! A shiny done right to brighten my day!

And I had also hoped to find one of these lovely foxxys~ there she is, staring out into the beauty of the ocean. The rain never bothered her, anyway~

And what do we do with bad shinies?

​

...Evolve them into better ones, of course!

This is one HOT shiny! That silvery sheen! Those blue-tipped tails! And what do we do with HOT shinies?

...Trade them away! She's now where she truly belongs, with my bestie @Foreverfox

My most recent batch of shinies, and the last ones I'll ever encounter in Legends Arceus as I'm completely finished with the game.

On a run around the Obsidian Fieldlands, I encountered 3 shiny monsters literally back-to-back, all spawned in at the same time on the map. First, I found yet another member of the Wurmple family in the form of Cascoon, a mon I already have. This little one was hanging around its parent and siblings during a massive mass outbreak.

Second, a random shiny Shinx in the distance. I was able to catch the sparkles!

And lastly, a random shiny Mothim. I really like the coloration on this guy.

Here's all 3 of them in the survey report as prove they were all caught in the same map, one after another.

And here they are, one happy family! Shinx is the odd one out, of course lol

If you try releasing a shiny, this is the message you get. Considering how this game hands out shinies like candy, I wouldn't quite consider them so rare lol but nonetheless are still very fun to catch.

On my menu, I came across a really weird bug. Yokan was on the brink of death, yet her health bar was completely full? But it was still colored red.... It was my first time seeing something like this and wondered if anyone else had this happen to one of their mons before. I don't even know how it triggered.

And when I went back to the menu, the bug corrected itself and her health bar was green as it should be when at full health.

The last, last shiny I encountered randomly in the wild, a Hisuian Voltorb. I prefer Kantonian Voltorb's shiny instead, but this one isn't too bad. Definitely noticeable.

My first complete shiny evolutionary chain: Wurmple, Cascoon and Dustox. Well, not including Silcoon and Beautifly, but this is as good as it's going to get lol

Just caught a shiny magikarp on violet! Had a red gyarados on my team for soul silver and clearly fate wants me to have one again lol

Here's my newest Legends: Arceus shiny, Rush! I found him during a regular mass outbreak with my research for Buizel already perfected, so 1/141 odds. I thought the mass outbreak was about over when he popped in right in front of me (and instantly aggro'd, ahaha). Tried to go for matching outfits with him here!

OH MY GOD NO! I was playing Pokémon gold, and somehow, someway. I got a shiny starter Totodile. Just to put in perspective, that’s over a 1 in 8000 chance! And, I saved twice and waited 30 secs then closed the game. And for some reason it didn’t work. Please help me cope otherwise I will die.

Are you playing the game for the first time on this cartridge?

If you're not and this is the second run through, did you fully erase the previous save file that you had on the game cartridge? Starting a new game on a cartridge without resetting/erasing the old save file will not save the new one over the old one.

"Unfortunately, Pokemon games only allow a single save file on each game card. If you wish to start a new save file, you must clear your previously saved data first. To do this, Press UP + B + X at the Main Menu."
