So I'm out here exploring the Paldea region as far as I can go before heading off on my first day of school, minding my own business, having some fun seeing what kinds of Pokémon I can discover, literally still in the beginning of the game- zero shiny buffs, no shiny charm, nothing - it's a base 1/4096 - and the game decides to throw a shiny Psyduck my way thanks, game! Like I don't already have one of these little guys in Legends Arceus lol but I don't mind, because I really like this shiny. That baby blue complements this baby so nicely!

Hi everyone! We have decided to combine the "Post Your Shiny Pokémon" and "Share Your Shiny Pokémon Stories" threads into a single thread and have renamed it the Share Your Shiny Pokémon Stories and Screenshots thread!

To kick-off the first post since the rebranding: I caught a shiny Azurill yesterday!

Here's Hemlock, the shiny Hisuian Sneasel I found on my birthday in Legends: Arceus this past weekend! He was a random encounter with research at level 10. I really love this shiny; I don't think I could've asked for a cooler birthday find.

And today I caught Dwayne the shiny Machoke during a mass outbreak (also completed research)! I couldn't remember what Machoke's shiny looked like and was about to look it up... then I got there, and one of them was green. Not one you need to worry about glancing over, I don't think.

I'm an avid shiny hunter! Thought I'd share some of my finds the past week :] These were all obtained through outbreaks, save for Mareep (now a Flaaffy) who I got as a random encounter while hunting in a Fidough outbreak.
Have yet to try the Matsuda method as I've been lazy

I've been getting a few shinies on Scarlet, but this one I'm very happy about! I spent only 15 minutes of grinding and this red-eyed critter met me at the bottom of Area Zero....

I'm so happy with them, although I need to give them a much better nickname than that. They actually work pretty well in certain 6-star raids, too!

With such a bright red color sticking out the vast green grasslands, I saw this little guy from a mile away lol this is my second full odds shiny encounter in the game, no sandwich buffs, shiny charm or mass outbreak, but it did spawn in a mini horde of four Tarountula and a Spidops. Gotta appreciate shinies with differences that really stand out.

Looks like the held item Destiny Knot, doesn't it? Was that what they were going for? lol it really matches well with my red aesthetic!

Here are the shinies I found so far in Scarlet, without the Shiny Charm. I’m glad I found a shiny Cufant and shiny Cetoddle since they’re very cute Pokémon. Also, I saved before catching the shiny Lokix cuz it looks cool and it kinda looks like a Power Ranger.

Hunted for my first shiny in Scarlet last night (I found a Shiny Gible several days ago but I wasn’t hunting at the time it was just random).

3 mins after making a Shiny Psychic sandwich I got my target! I’ve already fully trained it to be a tanky support in Tera Raids. Really hoping it helps since I wasn’t prepared for the previous round of Charizard raids but now I feel ready for when they return.

I don't have any shiny pictures, but I do have a few embarrassing shiny losses, the first of which is a Popplio in Ultra Moon. This Popplio was my starter, and it was received as a shiny. I got up to Akala before stupidly DELETING the save so I could start fresh. This was also how I lost a Shiny Lunatone in Alpha Sapphire...

Caught a couple of shiny bugs recently in Legends: Arceus! First was a shiny Silcoon in a mass outbreak (research level 10), and the second was a random Burmy at perfect research! I'm tempted to evolve both of them (especially since the Burmy is a male and shiny Mothim is gorgeous), but I think I might hold off and keep them like this for now, just in case.

More full odds shiny encounters! No sandwich buffs, no Shiny Charm This guy really stood out from the rest of his herd, just look at those brightly-colored horns! It's funny because I was thinking about how great Shiny Gogoat looks, and the universe said "Here you go-goat" lmaooooo

Hawlucha's shiny coloration makes it look like it just got done fighting to the death....all covered in blood. Another great shiny!

And this Shinx decided to go all super saiyan that's two Gen 6 shinies and one Gen 4 shiny. Would be awesome to find one shiny from every Gen. I'm just missing Gen 2, Gen 3, Gen 5, Gen 7 and Gen 8

I just found my first shiny in Scarlet, a shiny Azurill! It wasn't who I was looking for, but I won't ever turn down a shiny. If they hadn't been moving at the time I ran past, I probably wouldn't have seen them since they blend in so well with the grass.

This little dude is probably my most favorite shiny now HE’S SO TINY AND PINK

I was having a bad streak with outbreaks lately so finding him after just one (1) picnic reset was a breath of fresh air. I’m adding him to my overworld team! He needs to catch up with the rest of my team since I’m a little more than halfway through the story lol.

He loves taking naps!! It’s all he ever does because he is baby.

I gave him a bath and he is very happy!!

HE IS SO TINY IM GOING TO CRY!!
