Having just restarted my island, I want to find some villagers who charm me (and maybe help others out with who they’d like on their island/for the DLC!)

Post pics, screenshots, tell a story about them, even post your headcannons!

I have a bunch of favorite villagers but Joey and Tutu are probably my top two.I've had both of them since the early days of New Leaf and their New Horizons versions are just as much fun.

They’re both so cute. I think I have a soft spot for Joey, he looks like a rubber duck! <3

A few of the more underrated villagers I would recommend are Sydney (normal), Eloise (snooty), and Aurora (normal). Tangy is my favourite villager of all time but she's quite popular.

hoo boy. i genuinely have so many favourite villagers, but i’ll recommend you a few that i currently have on my own island! most of them are pretty popular, but a few of them are definitely pretty underrated as well. :’) *cough* midge and margie. *cough*

i’ll start off with an extremely underrated cutie — midge! i’ve had her on my island for about a month or so now, and i genuinely wasn’t expecting to like her this much. she’s absolutely adorable, and her interior/exterior is lovely! i can’t recommend her enough.

i also strongly recommend margie! she’s been on my island for almost two years now, and she is just... incredible. she’s genuinely such a beautiful villager, and i love her so, so much. she’s by far the sassiest normal villager i’ve ever met lol. i’ll also recommend fauna here as i have a headcanon that the two of them are besties, since they’re constantly hanging out.

whitney and sprinkle would also be lovely to have! they’re both absolutely stunning, and i have a lil headcanon that they’re girlfriends due to a story that i wrote earlier this year.

lastly, i recommend beau! i’m definitely biased as he was my #1 favourite villager for the longest time, but he’s truly the sweetest, funniest lil baby, and having him around is an absolute blast!

I think Ed is a super underrated villager. I've seen people call him "discount Julian" but I think he's really cute!

I'm not sure if Dom is considered "underrated" or not but when I first got him, I didn't think I'd keep him even though he was a brand new villager to the series. But I'm not sure if I could let him go now! He's been on the island since day one.

I think Freya might be a fairly popular villager, but I'm not so sure about Lobo or Muffy. I know Muffy gets called creepy, but I love her goth style. I just don't see people talk about Lobo all that much. I actually used an amiibo card to move him in since I just happened to get his card. I don't regret it!

Dom is my ride or die sweet shrimp boy, so even though he's already pretty popular, I will always recommend him. His facial expressions are just so funny, and tbh the entire jock personality grew on me a lot because of him. Besides, I feel like he fits super well into so many themes. Fairycore? Ya boy's pastel pink and white. Farmcore? Ya boy's a pretty classic looking white-fleeced sheep. Cottagecore? Why not.

Also shoutout to Chester, who is so underrated but SO cute imo, and cemented his place on my island and in my heart with this extremely relatable moment.

I have a lot of favorite villagers across all the Animal Crossing games, but New Horizons first endeared me to Cookie.

There's something about the peppy personality in New Horizons that I like a lot more than in previous games, and Cookie is adorably peppy.

And sometimes the things she says make me laugh. XD
