Guest, you're invited to help build our new TBT time capsule! It contains three parts, with some of its elements planned to open in 2029 and others not until the distant future of 2034. Get started in 2024 Community Time Capsule: Blueprints.
UPDATE: I'm changing the rules a bit regarding reservations. Instead of a blanket 24 hours for all reservations, I'll PM you asking about your general activity schedule and decide your window length based on your answer. I will do my best to make sure everyone gets a fair amount of time!
If you don't get a chance to respond to my PM before your villager goes into boxes, I will assume you are available on afternoons on weekends and evenings on weekdays, since that's the most typical schedule. But if you don't respond to my PM after 24 hours, I reserve the right to cancel your reservation.
Once you're online and you see my PM, please contact me right away. Ideally, you can take your villager right away! But if you now have 10 villagers, please let me know, and I'll refund you the 1 TBT. If you're busy and need more time to pick up your villager, just let me know! I'm happy to give you some more time. However, I won't give anyone more than 24 hours in total. If you can't pick up your villager even in 24 hours, let me know and I'll give you a full refund.
In the message I send to you notifying you your villager is in boxes, I will request a read-receipt. If you've read the message and have not responded with an estimate of when you can pick up your villager (ex. "now!" "in an hour!" "in the evening!" "town full D:") 10 minutes after reading, I will put your villager up for regular adoption. And your estimate should be as safe for you as possible, since if you miss your own estimate without keeping me updated, I will put your villager up for adoption.
Sorry for being so strict, I'm just really sick of having to put my cycling on hold for a whole day to fit one person's schedule. Now I know why I'm one of the only cyclers who takes reservations! But I understand how convenient they are for people looking to adopt from cycling threads, so I'm doing my best to find a way to keep reservations that works for both me and you.
Good news! In return for helping confettistan, I was able to get a Tier 1 villager Their lurker has been notified! I'll post more about them in an hour ^^
TIA has been reserved for JeffreyAC!
Thanks, that's a really nice thing of you to do!
(I've PMed Kokoronashi and will change the reservation to their name as soon as they PM me back)
Sure! (Actually, I never actually auto-void villagers, I give every villager at least half an hour to be adopted.) Would you like to reserve her for 1 TBT? You can always cancel your reservation for a full refund (of 1 TBT, so not that big a deal, but it's the principle, really)
