"We can't do that. The ruby has a force. It'll drag us toward it when we get out." Corinna then grabs a leave, "Let's try to get the ruby, If i touch it, wait for Zari to wake up." Corinna then picks up the ruby, and wraps it up. "Let's wait for Zari to wake up now."
Corinna then realizes: "Wait, I can fly, but that still wouldn't work, then make me unconsious"

"Oh.", Valeria said, then dropped the rope. She sat down, thinking of a way to wake Zari up.

(We are in the hole. Zari jumped down the hole and got knocked out. Opal was found unconsious by the mysterious glowing ruby. Corinna was able to read Valeria's thoughts, having mind powers she didn't know about. Corinna has suggested the ways of the ruby, still not knowing what it was doing)
"Opal can't hear you. I can't read her mind, it's like an endless sleep for her." said Corinna

Zari slowly opened his eyes. He shook his head and got up. Ahead of him was Corinna, looking over Opal who was unconscious. He saw no one else in the dark tunnel. He noticed a strange glowing ruby, wrapped in a leaf. He walked over and picked it up, unwrapping it. As it touched his skin, he felt its strange magic flow through his body. The ruby glowed bright red, until it slowly swallowed him in the sanguine illumination. It flashed and the light was gone, leaving a faint glowing tint in the stone. His eyes flashed red as he slowly put it in his pocket with his sapphire.

Tyla picked Opal up. "Oh, Opal..." But she couldn't see a ruby anywhere. "Are you sure Opal HERSELF isn't the ruby?"

The male had been hearing voices. He couldn't tell where they where or how many people there were, but he knew they were down this.. hole. Hisoka grimaced. It almost appeared bottomless, but the echoes of their voices attracted him similarly to the way light attracts a moth, and he tested the dirt with his shoe. As he thought, it was unstable, and he fell in, sliding down towards the bottom where he stumbled and regained his balance. There were only a few of them, a male and some females. He blushed nervously and lowered his eyes. He could have entered at a bad time. "Sorry.." He murmured.

The little imp was crouched in the shadows, watching as the humans interacted with the ruby. Her devilish tail lashed before she tilted her head, shifting her yellow gaze over each one of them. Humans weren't the smartest species, Kiyoko knew. If they had just looked in her direction, she was sure her glowing eyes would attract their attention.
Kiyoko pursed her lips in thought. She was tempted to play with these humans, but wasn't sure how they would react to the games the imp liked.

"Valeria! Be careful, you don't know what lies down here." he said. He looked over to Corinna and raised an eyebrow, and a slight pink shimmer went across his eyes. He dug in his pocket and pulled out the ruby. "See? It's safe." he mumbled as he tosses it in the air and catches it.

Zari quickly glances over at the new person. He seemed vaguely familiar, but he couldn't match a face with a name. He meets eyes with him for a couple moments and notices him getting uncomfortable. Zari reaches in his pocket for his sapphire, and absorbs a little of its magic, feelings it tense up his veins. He slowly wedges into the young man's conscious, until finally he breaks in, and sees a glimpse of his thoughts. Inquisitive. Zari blinks for a moment, and asks, "Hello? Are you lost?"

He looked quickly up at the male who'd spoken to him, taking a second to scan his face. He smiled awkwardly and shrugged, slightly mumbling something that was inaudible. Realizing that he hadn't actually spoken, he bit his lip with embarrassment and shook his head, the blues of his gaze softening.
"Not exactly... I came here thinking you guys were stuck and needed help. I apologize if I intruded.."
He was nervous. This wasn't exactly his forte. He wasn't good at making friends and knew that this other guy would probably just be creeped out... Oh, this was going terribly.
