Stuff you remember from your childhood

Yikes. That's a while back.
Hmm... trying to learn a back walk over in my bedroom too close to the wall, didn't make it over but my knees flew forward and put two nice dents in the wall. I hid it with a calendar until my OCD dad found it.
-My little brother throwing a pencil at me and it sticking straight out of my leg. He lied and still to this day swears he threw it upwards at the ceiling. We are 5 years apart. I remember.
-Writing down every lyric to colors of the wind rewinding the vhs because I wanted to learn the song.
-Getting those cookies in McDonald's happy meals and saving the purple guy because he's my favorite. Sat him on my parents water bed (yep!) headboard by their corded phone (yep! before cell phones) and she was cleaning and sat the phone down on him smashing him and I cried forever!
-Running away in the cold with my thick jacket and my puppy on a leash in tow. We actually have pictures. My parents found this hilarious.
-Playing kick ball with all the neighborhood kids.
-many more things.

- when i was 6, i hated the colour green but didn't like being negative for no reason so i forced myself to like it now mint green is my favourite colour

- when i was 13, i used to get bullied by some popular girl at school, so i gave her a cookie and suddenly everyone in my year loved me

- when i was 8, i called my brother stupid and he hid my ds under my mattress for a year and i didn't even notice

- this went on for a long amount of time but i used to get club penguin magazines every week and they all had a 1week free membership in them so i was a member for free on club penguin and yeah i just acted like i was a god

- then at school, i used to get detention every single day i'm not the best person irl 😅

I remember waiting anxiously for the weekend to spend the whole day watching cartoons and playing videogames
Not that the videogame part has changed but i have a strange feeling that doing this during my childhood was way better than today
Maybe is just the nostalgic feeling or maybe is the fact tbat when you are at young age you dont have this massive and tiresmo tesponsibilities
But this cartoon weekends were awesome
I remember waking up early in the morning and preparing a huge milishake sitting on the couch and starting the day with the sequence of the morning tokusatsus of the late 80’s
Jaspion, changeman, black kamen rider and then jiraya
After that was the animen shonen style
Yu yu hakusho, dragon ball z, sakura card captors, samurai spirits, saint seiya OMG HOW I LOVE SAINT SEIYA
The past few days im slowly rewatching in netflix and isnstill awesome even for today standards

Also, the Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark books from Alvin Schwartz and Stephen Gammell. These books definitely spooked a fair share of children, including myself, but they were still fun. I remember hearing that in 2011 the original artwork got replaced because parents were complaining about it or something . Fortunately, the publishers later came back to their senses and put back Stephen's unique, nightmarish illustrations.

my earliest memory, it's a little bit depressing but getting bullied at the park lol

i also remember in preschool when i was 4 the teacher made everyone do this little project where i think you were supposed to draw your face on a paper plate. the teacher and i were sitting at a table across from each other and she was watching me draw, but all of a sudden she left the table to take care of someone else and i didnt like my picture because it wasn't "perfect" enough in my eyes so i just threw it out.
