Oh, also, just to clarify - this wouldn't allow you to change the HTML or anything as if it was Tumblr - the only thing you would be able to change is the colors of the tabs, content, titles, texts, etc and change the background of your profile.
I myself would find it too frustrating. I mean, I'd want it to look good. And, me being me, I'd never be able to make it look as good as I wanted it to look. So, for me, it would be too much to handle. But, I'm still going to support the concept.
I am neutral about it, because I simply don't look at profiles all that much. I mean; I can send a PM by clicking on a user name, so it's not like I have to look at the profile. So, that's why I didn't vote. I think there are more important and urgent matters the Staff needs to focus on, but if the Staff is for this idea of profile customization, then hey; why not?
I thought it sounded like a good idea but then it could be messy. When I came to tbt I was upset too but I remember on a previous forum they allowed custom profiles and while some peoples (mine) looked chipper others looked ratchet. Bad quality photos of leopard print with hints of lime green and purple.. ew
I don't really think a forum needs extensive profile customization. Although some improvement to the current ones would be very welcome. It would also be nice to have a more visible "about" section on the main profile page for which we can color the text, add emotes... basically format like a forum post.
