volt did not want to claim until we forced it out of them

having a hard time reading the cop claims here. what i think we need to chop one of the BP claims here and let the real cop try to check one of the other cop claims, since there's no reason to check me, shawo, final arcadia and we'll know the other BP claim's alignment after the flip

sorry tae and dedenne, this isn't personal, but it pretty much has to be one of you as the mafia in that group, both cannot be town and jester is unlikely. we will find mafia whether today or D2 though, so there's at least that

Choosing between the BP claims seems best for the aforementioned reasons about it being pretty 50/50 and even if we hit wrong, we still learn something useful and would likely hit mafia the next day. Of the two

yeah i dont think cop is of much use whilst the miller and godfather are both around, so i dont think claiming will do any harm

I think this was a good post, a useful comment on the claiming situation and if cop should claim or not given the setup. Feels like useful thoughts on an important topic that could potentially move the game along and let claim-solving begin. Dedenne also claimed fairly easily IIRC and the nonchalant "I kinda just did it because" (paraphrase) reason for claiming feels authentic enough to me

he wasnt automatically sheeped as maf until after he tried to push me out to lunch when i hot headed replied to his weak read on me after not reading like, anything from D1. he was sketchy as heck. shawo is a calculated hard fast claim kinda player from what ive witnessed (ive only played one game with him though) and i've also never played an all PR role game so this is pretty different compared to anything else ive played before. i'm still catching up on the thread but i wanted to mention my impeding forever sus on shawo for all of eternity bc of that damn game. X)

tae on the other hand feels more defensive or evasive, putting off claiming for a while even after being prompted (the second post was after that point for sure), and the last post feels like deflection. Of the two BPs, I'm leaning on tae being the one who is mafia here

After reconsidering, I’m actually inclined to believe ronishy is jester and volt is the mafia. Don’t think ronishy is being forthright and didn’t answer my objection to her (and seemingly Daniel’s) plan to investigate a cop claim. Though now that’s daniel explained why we would scan each other I guess that makes sense long as we vote for one of dedenne or tae. Breadcrumbing cop also can potentially better sow seeds of chaos - I don’t see jester volt behaving as they did

So that brings me to why I think volt is mafia. Volt had to have their claim beaten out of them and dedenne lowkey bleeds genuine to me even if I think her excuse is kinda lame. Given I think ronishy is most likely to be jester and dedenne the BP, that leaves volt as the jester by PoE

So that means, in the end, I think our mafia team is volt and tae, and volt is only maf leaning tae rn out of pressure to bus given tae coming under withering criticism from shawo

for people wondering why I said the cop should claim, here is why. in this game state, the cop will never be killed by mafia as the death of the cop outright means that the two remaining cop claims must be jester/wolf. the cop must be left alive so the wolf can continue to push that they are in fact the real cop

we should not chop a cop claim today. this will force mafia to have to figure out which other the other two claims is the real one. so there is a 50/50 chance that the role blocker will block the jester, and allow the cop to inspect

given this, there is also a high chance the role blocker claimed within the cop group and the godfather claimed BP (this depends how far in advanced wolves planned their claims). hopefully, we will chop the mafia within the BP claims to see if this is indeed the case. If the role blocker is in the cop claims and blocks the jester tonight, the cop will check green for jester and red for wolf

I don't see how you would solve the game with that pov knowing you are not mason, but also mason claim was inevitable so why would you both be bold to claim and ride this game as mason when you are mafia.... imo you could be the actual BP, hence knowing that BP are fishy, but also I dont see why you would townclear shawo then

also at i forgot who quoted me: i’m literally always defensive and abrasive when i play mafia. it’s pretty much my meta at this point. look back at renaissance mafia- i got pushed by shawo (mafia messenger) and was super defensive in my initial claim and he pushed me for it saying nobody innocent would be that defensive right away ¯\_(ツ)_/ it’s just how i am y’all.
