Alright I'm ready to submit my vote to 3DSFan134.

This in particular made me nervous to want to vote iTookYourWaffles even though the argument against her was strong:

To be honest, Waffles is really the one who's from the mafia. It would be because he wasn't posting like from 3 or 4 days.

When people place a vote for someone else, based on that ( " THEY MAFIA GOGOGOGOGO " ) & looking back at their post history ( " So who gunna get lynched " ) .. it just feels very iffy to me. You literally went from " who " to " imma vote u & u mafia " with no posts in between. It no longer feels safe to vote iTookYourWaffles to be lynched because of this vote ( 3DSFan134's vote ). It feels like this could be a trap on 3DSFan134's part? I don't know his motivation because he will not SPEAK UP. :l For now it just looks like you were trying to take advantage of the situation where the thread exploded on iTookYourWaffles.

.. without any posts in between to explain your thought process or motivation to go full out on iTookYourWaffles.

No explanation, jumping on iTookYourWaffles after the thread exploded on her, no participation in the Town discussions, no defence even though people are currently voting for you. If you are an innocent Town player then we need you to step up so we do not make a bad lynch. Otherwise it just looks like you are trying to take advantage of a situation here (iTookYourWaffles looking guilty).

This raises a red flag for me, and I see that it's raised a red flag for others.

Again, if you are an innocent town player please do not encourage us to lynch you (the way you currently are acting is too much reason to get you lynched) and step up.

Unfortunately you haven't answered to me .. or to anyone really. So if you are a Town player & we lose you today, then this was because you made no efforts to defend yourself & are practically throwing away your game with stuff like " They really mafia every1 ". Also I will not consider pardoning your lynch if you do get lynched because I do not see effort from your part to be convinced enough that you are a Town player.

I decided to change my vote to 3DSfan134. Mostly because he has made the fewest posts out of everybody here. Even Waffles has more posts than him, and some are even quite knowledgable. 3DSfan134 does this:

I'm sorry, what? That didn't help the town at all, and right after he posted this he voted for Waffles with a strong reason under it. THAT'S my concern. So, I'm going to change my vote now.

You are just repeating what most people have said and following with the majority votes. I get it, in a way we all have a similar reason to be voting for 3DSFan134 ( he made some weird moves in this game ), but this post makes it seem like you are trying your best to blend in with everyone.

People were complaining that others were not giving good explanations to why they were voting someone. Its better then just saying, "Oh, i'm just going to vote and say nothing. And then get killed!" She is just confirming her opinion and what she thinks is true.

Anyway, looking at the vote count from the thread:



So first off, what the hell is up with the Lynn votes exactly? I'm struggling to understand. Why? Please do explain yourselves. Unless I've missed something horribly, they haven't done anything.

Next... let's talk about Waffles. Although I was a bit suspicious of them for changing the subject so much previously, I'm thinking it was just general awkwardness trying to contribute. They have also bothered to come defend themselves, unlike some of the other lynchees today. So for now, I'm leaning towards innocent. Something to point out though, Farobi and her seem to be in kind of cahoots with the agressive defense for Waffles, and apparently they have shared roles. If one of them ends up flips Mafia... it might be worth being weary of the other.



Speaking of lynchees not defending themselves... Hello 3DSFan! Yesterday, I mentioned that he had completely avoided posting in the thread. Not a single post after the game started, but he did manage to sneak in a vote. A bit later, he came back and mentioned having strep throat as his reason for inactivity. I'm not saying he didn't have sterp throat, but I do question that this somehow stopped him from being able to post in here at all. Why?

Well, let's take a gander at his post history on TBT lately. The Mafia game started on November 26th. Somehow though, he was able to post perfectly fine on the rest of TBT outside of this thread. The following posts all occurred between 11-26-2013, 07:35 PM (after Mafia started) and then all the way to 11-30-2013, 04:47 AM which is when he finally came into this thread and posted for the first. Note that he was also able to vote in the voting thread just fine too.

















You can fact check all of this yourselves if you so desire. Anyway, after being called out for it and finally replying with the strep throat post promising to post in here more.

Has he followed through? Here's the list of post contributions since, even while being voted for in here and being requested of a defense...

I fully admit that none of this is hard evidence pointing toward scum. But what I do see is someone who was hiding away from this thread, while still being sure to leave votes in the voting thread. And then got called out for it, and proceeded to continue doing the same thing with 1 useless post and another vote with the bandwagon. There's also been zero defense against the votes on him recently, despite being online hours after it was happening.

3DSfan is either Mafia doing a very poor job trying to stay hidden and lurk while throwing in votes, or is an uninterested town player who shouldn't be playing if that's the case. I can't tell you which one it is, but I'm more confident in this than the other players up for lynch.

I still don't know how to read Beary, especially after their mental breakdown in the past few hours. It feels like a very confused town member, but who knows really. It is odd though how they suddenly sharpened up a bit in the past half a day. It's also like a fellow Mafia member tried to give them some pointers or something to save her. And without giving away too much, I personally feel strongly at the moment that Lynn is not mafia.

Oh yeah, I want to call out Riley a bit here too. Has anyone noticed their flip flopping in the Voting thread? I can't help but point it out after reading the thread.







They appear to be only be interested in following whatever the vote crowd is feeling. All three major suspects today were voted for by him. It's usually smart as Mafia to hide in the vote crowd and follow whatever is popular at the moment, so it's probably worth keeping a watch on Riley in the future.

Anyway, I may not be online again by the time the current Day ends, so I'm placing my vote for 3DSfan now. Let's hope for the best. :\ I can't say I'm really THAT behind any of the lynchees today. It's hard though, we still have so little to go by.

I think you missed some posts when you were reading, because I gave a clear reason to why I changed each time. Tom even told me not to change my vote so much in the future, and I replied that I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for also reminding me, but I already have a clear direction right now.

Lynn is saying she didn't vote for Lauren because it "wouldn't help anyways" so she jumped on the waffles bandwagon. She then said, "I really can't think of any other suspects in mind besides 3DS fan and Waffles..". Why? Why does she find them suspicious? Just because they've been accumulating a lot of votes? I want an explanation.

(To be honest, I want an explanation from everyone who voted simply because everyone else was doing so.)

Yes voting for lynn isn't as popular, but, it'd be a great place to go to hide especially when fingers are being pointed at everyone who's bandwagoning the other members

I voted for Lynn. It seemed like she was trying to get others to start pointing fingers at Lauren, but one minute later she voted for Waffles. I have a feeling it's because she didn't want to stand out from everyone else since a lot of people have been voting for iTookYourWaffles, she even posted that she voted for him/her because other people were.

anyway out of the 4, i feel like lynn seems the most suspicious. making a case against lauren (with a quote from another thread..?) then voting against waffles? i dunno. 3dsfan just seems really inactive to me. but im mostly tossing it up between lynn and 3dsfan

also i do find riley, BBG, and blueleaf's votes kinda weird. they're all jumping on the next train. whenever someone makes an argument against someone else, they change their votes right away..? i know riley promised not to abuse the unvote option but just a thought.

I find Hikari very suspicious. I accused Hikari way earlier in the thread. He was lurking at the time I posted, and also for quite awhile after. The reason I accused Hikari was a random pointing of finger at Horus, but Hikari's logic made no sense. He stated that the mafia would probably be the first to comment on people's death after day 1. Unfortunately, this makes no sense at all. Why would the mafia be the first? Hikari's whole basis of accusation on Horus was off of this, so his accusation of Horus I proved to be completely flawed. But why would Hikari do that? Hikari is now just following the crowd, where before he was accusing people. When, in the IRC last night, I addressed Hikari about the whole situation, the excuse for not responding to my post was "I skip over posts sometimes" which doesn't line up with someone who is lurking, only people who are quickly trying to catch up, which Hikari wasn't doing. I also asked about the crappy logic used to accuse Horus, and the response was something along the lines of "It must have been really late".
I've been watching Hikari ever since then while everyone else just ignored the point and jumped on Waffles because Justin jumped on Waffles over my rehashing of Superpenguin's post. I'm assuming Hikari waited to reply because he wanted to make sure he was forgotten about and safe, and then jumped on the next bandwagon available. Hikari has recently now been trying to blend in with the crowd by voting who everyone else is voting for. This is why I think Hikari is mafia.
