Mafia TBT Mafia IX: The Apocalypse [Game Over/Town Win]

Alright. I don't have to believe you. Just in case Purpl's detective plan doesn't work because there isn't more than one detective(unlikely, but still a possibilty) I've thought up one myself.
Let's say War frames Superpenguin Night one. A detective, following everyone's push to inspect Superpenguin, finds out that he shows mafia. (Even if superpenguin was mafia, he would still come up as mafia, I believe) Since that was the only detective, he would most likely push for his lynch other than inspect him again just to make sure. If we inspected everyone twice, where would we be? Nowhere. I don't have a problem doing this just once, but I don't want it to always happen(not saying that it will, but.)

Speaking to Detectives here, be careful who you roleclaim to unless you are absoutely sure of them. If you are the only one, it would hinder town even further. As we already have the mafia and the horsemen to kill, the loss of the detective would be horrible for us. I strongly urgethat you all be careful.

Nope. Is this a joke to you?

It does seem rather scummy to push the prime lynch target to inspect in place of the lynch.

Actually, inspecting everyone twice is a great idea! War can't frame a person twice in a row so as long as detectives can inspect a person twice in a row to confirm their roll we can easily pick out who allies with what side. The only thing is unless the detective tells the rest of us who they inspected (it would be wise to stay secretive about a roll as detective) we have to go off the word of someone who the detective trusts.

Yeah, still less than me, but you haven't posted just one. Just proving my point here.
Also, I'm asking you legitamate questions, and you flat out ignore me and bring up my posts. So what? I doubt that someone actually roleclaimed to you. I think you just want to make everyone think that.

Honestly, I have to agree with this. Purpl is such a weird choice to roleclaim to. They're not too strong of a player I don't view them as being effective at making cases based off the theoretical information the DT gives to Purpl is given.

It is a weird choice, but I have a plan if they aren't what they say they are.

SP is suspicious, for sure. But I think that by focusing our resources on figuring out his alignment, we're giving the Horsemen and the Servants of Hell a brilliant chance to make a move while we're all busy focused on one particular player. While we could be watching and inspecting players who are laying low, (and getting accurate inspections because War would have little to no reason to frame them) SP suggests this:

Have the watcher watch me at first and then inspect me when War is out of the picture or at a night where you aren't all posting publicly to inspect me guiding War into framing the right person.

My point exactly, Superpenguin. Let's waste our actions on you instead of watching and inspecting other players who could be your allies. By effectively shouting and waving your arms wildly, you've managed to get everybody's attention. With all the ruckus focused on you right now, if we inspected you and you turned up mafia, many people would claim you were framed. It's likely and that's why it's a good plan. You've effectively got a "get out of jail free card" here because War is extremely likely to frame you. Sure if you really are scum we'd just find out after the next action but then you would've been a very successful distraction.

People have been saying you're a strong player but all you've done during this game is draw unnecessary attention to yourself. Whatever alignment you are, I don't think a player like you is useful in the long run. I see very little reason to keep you in the game.

In regards to other players who we should be careful of:

I am now in contact with a blue role, one which will help us figure out whether or not SP is mafia, third party, or town. We now do not have to worry about the framers.

Whilst you're not the only other player in support of this grand scheme to prove SP's innocence, as Oath points out it's a little mysterious that this blue role would roleclaim to you. Just for reference, in the most recent mini mafia, Purpl was lynched on day one. Why a blue role would rc to a day one lynch candidate is a tad strange, don't you think?

I will quote them for you:
"Hey, I like your plan with regards to SP! I can see you're already improving
I had a plan of my own, I just wanted to see someone else's opinions. I feel I can trust you for the most part, so I'll let you know I'm the (removed role)."

Also, if they turn out to be lying, I have a plan, as stated previously.

Why would you remove the role? We already know you're talking to the detective, which we can infer from this:

I am now in contact with a blue role, one which will help us figure out whether or not SP is mafia, third party, or town. We now do not have to worry about the framers.

You couldn't be in contact with Castiel, as he can only rolecheck once.

Night ends at 3:00 PM Central Time (three hours from this post). Actions should be sent in by 2:00 PM (two hours from this post). Unfortunately, night will have to be extended until 8:00 PM due to extreme lack of actions, unless everyone gets their actions in within the next two hours. Actions must be sent in by 7:00 PM (seven hours from this post), giving you all an extra five hours.

Jesus, I know I wouldn't. I wouldn't roleclaim to some of the stronger players, let alone Purpl.

What do you mean, ruin it? Anyone with two brain cells could figure it out.
I'd like to know this too.

Well, now that you've shed it in a different light, I could see what you mean.
The dective should indeed spread the word through a different person. For example, if another player that was inspected turned up town, the detective could spread the word through them. That's the gist of what you are saying, right?

For the doctors who may or may not have sent in their actions yet, please be wise and use your common sense. Don't be like LittleBeary a game or two ago who decided to protect lynn105 for no real reason. Those on the town who are making sense are likely going to be targeted.

( HEY )

WELL THEN JUST RUIN IT
But all joking aside, it is the Detective. They will be rolechecking Superpenguin.

I actually think it was a good idea for them to roleclaim to someone they trust, seeing as they can then pass on information without revealing themself. Some have been asking why they'd roleclaim to Purpl, but they obviously trust them a lot from what they've seen so far. Personally, I don't think I'd want to role claim to a stronger player anyway, if I were them.

I wouldn't want to rely on it too much until information is shared though, just in case.
