This is a scary thought to think about, honestly. But wouldn't that make scum a little too overpowered? I don't think Jer would make the Godfather AND a goon OP. Then again, everyone thought the Captain was a blue in Pleasure Cruise. Haha

Lauren (Vera Claythorne) lies dead on the ground. She holds something in her hand...

Dr. Armstrong checks her pulse while Philip Lombard opens the grasp of the fallen woman. "It's a... chicken wing?" She had brought a KFC bucket from the train station and had been munching on it quite passionately since they arrived on the island.

Lombard hands the wing to Dr. Armstrong. "This chicken has been laced with potassium cyanide," the doctor exclaims. The guests notice that one of the figurines has been broken. Gasps of "murder!" fill the room.

They turn to each other in bewilderment. Who could have done this?

Detective, check who ever, its a stab in the dark. I don't see how anyone could have a case right now, but we'll see, i could be missing something.

The likelyhood of this is true, but there is a slight chance they're going to check mafia, I hope so.

I am very sure that is what I've said? I said no one can make a case due to it being night 0 there is no evidence, we'll see how night pans out...

Okay, not much evidence there but i'll leave this here if anyone finds anything. I'm making a list of everyone who replied to her and didn't reply to her, although i'm not sure which ones more suspicious. But right now i feel like theres really not much evidence at all still.

Damn, rip Lauren. Of all people that make really active and clever townies, Lauren is probably right up there. I would bet that scum didn't really hope for anything other than hitting a random blue, or just taking out a generally active town player that is pretty good at defending themselves in a lynch. Looking over the posts I don't see anyone engaging against here other than Cory, and even that was just some Night 0 banter.

Again though, i'm kinda not sure which list is more suspicious. I mean, Lauren is a pretty experienced player, but i almost kinda doubt that someone would kill her without talking to her first.
Then again it may be less suspicious to lie low and not say anything to her even though they knew they were going to do it. maybe the person who did it has seen her before in other games where she was very knowledgeable?

Well, only one player is going to return scum anyway, so as soon as they are uncovered, just out them.
The way I see it is that the Godfather was given a role that is not in the OP to claim as or a role that was not given out but is in the OP to use. Yes, the Detective shouldn't just out themselves to a player that returns innocent, but at least start talking to them.

It doesn't make very much sense that the Godfather would be given a town roll that is not in the OP. They would be easily found out if that were the case. If I found out someone's roll and it was something not in the OP, I would expose it. Chances are that they were given a random named green for their roll check to come back as.

It's safe to assume that the Godfather is one of the townie roles listed in the op. This is semi-open game for a reason.

This game is semi-open, which means possible roles are public, but not the amount of them in the game.

I think Oath has it right. So all of the rolls are given and it's safe to assume the godfather has one of the green names listed.
