Because controlling 50% means making it 2v2 or 1v1, which requires voting off four (however, that basically means doding two “real” Lynch’s)

Or I’m misinterpreting your basic point being that you won on the second odd number day, but you still would’ve needed to dodge the lynch then, and that plain wasn’t happening if at least two of me/Punchy/Toads were alive

The win condition wasn't "Must be an equal amount of town or less to win" but "Control 50% of the people". 50% of the people is 3 people, right? The problem is that he didn't even apply the day 1 votes even if that was the whole point of the odd days. Just because some people are inactive doesn't mean you should throw away the votes from the people who were active. It's not gonna make them more active.

Plus, i knew you would've guessed that me and hyrule was teamed up. Adding Dolby was a sure way of helping Town. It was gonna go downhill from there for Mafia and it was gonna end the game anyways. Me claiming wasn't the breaking point.

You guys have to realize that finding a replacement is so hard. The mafia of before would give you the third degree if you out in the middle of the game and do it in the middle of thread and not consulting the host. But that doesn't bother me in the slightest if there is a valid reason to replace. But to ask for a replacement just because you don't feel like playing or the host made some changes, is making hosting difficult for the host. It is not like we have a steady pool of replacements so to take it so lightly this replacement business is just being making things hell for the host.

I am sorry about it. The past 2 games, I had my reasons to op out. Important life stuff got in the way. This time, i was just annoyed that you didn't count the votes for day 1 without really stating why and going against what you stated in your main post.

I'm taking a break from Mafia, or Biancas games for now (maybe about two weeks). I don't want a game where the game rules change mid-game.

It's hard to play the game when the rules change during midgame. That fact that you don't state your reasoning behinds the changes i frustrating and how there was no mentions of possible changes in the main post is frustrating as it is. The game was already gonna be over because everyone knew who was mafia and Hyrule barely posted as it is.

I was gonna claim anyways since it was obvious but hint an inactive user as my partner over Hyrule by putting hyrule in the top 3 votes but Dolby post made it feel like it was sudden gameover and mafia is these people so i just went with the end of game. Me claiming doesn't mean end of game, really.

I'm sorry I messed this game up by claiming.

It's just sad that I thought you were doing so good and you are doing very well and improving with your post Antonio and I am proud. And even if Dolby said you and Hyrule are scum, you can easily make arguments about it. and keep up the conversation. My impression is you saw Dolby say you both are scum and then just give up by then.

You could have not modkilled but went with the votes, right? Leaving 5 town and 2 mafia. I didn't spoil the game, it could've gone on with me with claiming. You never stated you would adapt the game according to the climate nor do I remember experience a game where they had to adapt. I never had to adapt my game and it ended in such a short period of time because I stick with what I stated in my main post.

Just a note from observing, I thought you were playing a very strong game Antonio and it was a huge improvement, same goes for calamity, because had I played I might've been pocketable in regards to lynching Toads and agreeing with the logic of your rebukes to him and Punchy...at least from skimming, and that's a feat, because I'm not as easily pocketed as I used to be.

And Bianca it's not that you shouldn't not accept newbies at all, you should just consider wofc on some of these youngins, they would be tempbanned under old rules. Just don't think they're ready to play mafia yet but some new person could always show promise. Hyrule was better with his activity than some of these other guys for example. Our population is suffering and we gotta be careful so yeah Wisdom of the Crowd > blanket 'no newbs' imo.

I agree with Dad. Antonio has shown great improvement, and I was impressed with his reads and trying to play the game. This also goes for calamitybot. Had Antonio stick through the end, I have no doubt he could have done this alone, and of course, Hyrule being on the radar.

And yes, I meant WOTC as opposed to not accepting newbies. Thanks for making that emphasis. I meant WOTC.
