I didn't get to make an egg but I don't care!!! The eggs that won are both some of my favorites and some I didn't even get a chance to see. I can't wait to choose a basket its still a toss-up for me ngl.

I found egg 1, I'm pretty sure what #2 is but I gotta cross reference, and #4 I'm pretty sure but with my luck I'ma mess things up. I'm SO stumped on #3. Gonna be thinkin bout that one while I work on other stuff I betcha

The new eggs are all so lovely! I honestly got so hyped seeing a Fishbowl Egg because I had some sketches of a Fishbowl Egg myself that I didn't follow through with. Congrats to all the users who's eggs were chosen! I don't envy staff at all for having to make that decision. OTL Really honoured to see that my Seashore Egg made it! I wasn't sure if the beach/water theme was something too niche but I was overwhelmed by how much other members seemed to like it.

I have a pretty busy weekend ahead of me but I will definitely be making some time to hunt for eggs.

Ok, ok, I know it’s already been talked about, but I can’t help joining in! I first noticed Betsy’s egg and was really excited. So I had to sit there (seemed like forever) until I saw mine pop up. What a a super cute little extra job for Zipper…..official egg presenter! Sharing mine…. -

Could I respectfully ask for clarification on this? It seems a bit odd/confusing to explicitly state that cooperation is permitted while also saying that staff discourage it and don’t want people to cooperate.

Prohibiting even spoiler-free posts like “would love to join a PM to work together!” seems to give a huge advantage to popular users with a large/established network on TBT who will already be messaging each other and can naturally share hints if they want, while putting less popular users in the position of having to just “cold call” other participants with messages seeking help or (much more likely) just give up and solve clues alone.

I would understand if staff decided not to allow cooperation, but since it is allowed, it seems like it would be a lot more balanced and fair to give everyone a shot at cooperating—and for what it’s worth, I think these events are much more fun when we can work with each other and make connections!

I’m sorry, I’m really not trying to be critical! I would love to understand the reasoning here.

To piggyback on Sheando's post, I don't think any of the messages were begging for help. There's a difference between politely stating you have no one to work with vs "Come on guys help me out I need answers ".

Popular members have always had an advantage, even when working together was prohibited. People value their bonds over rules, especially when they are not likely to get caught.

Those who want to work alone and treat it as a game of skill can still do that. No one is spoiling that for them.

I understand that the staff doesn't want the hunt to be reduced to people passing around an answer sheet. But I think the 'not discussing answers publicly' prevents that from happening on an organized scale. I find it strange (and a little depressing tbh) to discourage cooperation and reward selfishness (by offering additional currency for less people finding the eggs). Maybe the spirit of the Egg Hunt has always been to reward cleverness, but with the way the event is designed, it's impossible to prevent people from sharing information. I feel like the staff has mitigated this challenge the best they can, by rewarding the first person to find an egg, and also through the use of puzzle eggs.

I apologize if this comes across as confrontational; I'm trying to give feedback respectfully. The staff agreed that scarcity of collectibles and lack of event currency was an issue that needed to be addressed, but attitudes like this contrast with that message.

I'm going to cry. I really, really love a particular egg from one basket. And I really, really love two eggs in the other basket.

No wait. That's not enough tears.

But the ever-hopeful part of me will keep believing they will all return in future egg hunts.

I'd recommend posting in the TBT Marketplace to try and coordinate a plan for trading if there is an egg you are really fond of in the opposite basket. If you've not selected a basket yet, it's a good way to make your selection / plan your egg spending to ensure both you and another member have an easier time getting hold of your top favourites.

I just woke up and don't have much time left (family duties call) to share my thoughts, but I'm so happy right now!!! I can't believe my egg got chosen! The egg I created is now a collectible, that's insane!!! This is so special to me, it feels like a tiny dream came true

Also why did you have to put eggs into two separate baskets?! I love eggs from both of them! How am I supposed to choose?

Zipper holding eggs in the banner is the sweetest thing. I love it so so much. And the Egg Hunt itself is finally here!

Just woke up and can confirm this egg hunt is haunting my dreams I've found zero eggs so far, and really I still don't even know what I'm looking for tbh. Do I have to be on desktop to do this or is it okay to use mobile mode as well?

Congratulations to all of the winning egg collectible designers! They are all outstanding. It was such a learning curve to work on such a small canvas, so I'm really impressed with the quality of eggs.

I'm loving seeing everyone's eggs in the banner, too. This looks a lot like Zipper is planning to set fire to Briar's Wooden Egg. Sorry Briar! :(

With egg 3 I think I was looking too closely at one part of the clue and not all, abs I'm somehow stumped on egg 4. I know that's a puzzle but man :/
One day I'll be good at puzzles XD
