Teeth

My teeth were really bad when I grew up. Not in like medically bad, but not straight at all.
Could've been because I knocked out two of my front milkteeth on a slide when I was young.
Anyways, as a young kid I never really understood that it was important to so many to have
straight and white teeth. I had to get braces eventually, to fix them and I had a overbite or however
it's called.. anyways, my teeth are now pretty straight, but I still don't like them. I just feel like they
don't look good, so I refuse to smile with teeth showing on pictures, but I would never want to get
any operation or so done to "fix" them. Nobody is perfect and nobody needs perfect teeth, as long
as they are not bothered by it or have pain.

My teeth are pretty average. I have a cavity in the back I need to take care of soon though. 😬

Unfortunately, a lot of people seem to be bothered by bad teeth. If they are real bad and not just slightly crooked, it’s very easy for someone to judge you. My experience with bad teeth caused me to be a primary target for bullying in school. As an adult, some people were definitely judgmental as well. Fortunately, some adults realize that it’s better to keep opinions to yourself if it’s not nice, so most of the time, they never actually say anything... but I did pick up on some disgusted glares after speaking with them. I think it’s some people’s biggest deal breakers in regards to relationships and such. Not to get off topic here, but I think having at least decent looking teeth is important, and I’d urge many people to take care of their teeth, which is something that I failed to do when I was younger. It’s inevitable that people will judge you for literally anything as that’s how society is...

Sad, but true. :(

My teeth are pretty bad from being depressed most of my teenage years on top of smoking and bad eating habits. Getting them fixed up soon thankfully!

My teeth can def be better. They aren't horrible, but def need some work done, even if just a deep clean/minimal work.

I never went to a dentist (expensive, got no insurance) so alot of them are crooked. It's more prominent that the first four teeth on the bottom row are crooked and overlap each other. Not majorly crooked, but def not straight.

They also aren't like white chalk colour either, I guess they're stained idk. I'm pretty sure I have alot of plaque build up, esp on my back teeth. My gums sometimes bleed when I'm not doing somethin that's brushing them, like eating, and when I do brush them my gums bleed.

Idk teeth problems just run in the family ig. One day I would like to save to save up a BUNCH of money to get a little bit of work done on them but I absolutely do not see that happening anytime soon. I also can't get insurance throu this job. I'm quite fortunate that I haven't had pain, swelling or as far as I know, cavities, yet. I hope I won't get any of that until I atleast have a good sum saved up for an emergency.

my teeth are fine. they're not super straight or pearl white or anything, but they don't make me feel too self conscious so i don't really feel the need to fix them.

I’ve always had nice teeth. When I was 20 , I also had braces just to fix some overcrowding on the bottom, but I wasn’t really necessary. I just got them because my insurance would cover them. It wasn’t even noticeable since I smile with just my top teeth. I didn’t use my retainers though, and one of those teeth has shifted back slightly. It’s not really noticeable either and I don’t think I want braces again just to slightly shift one tooth. I’ve been told its because I need to make space and remove my wisdom teeth. They have all grown out.....but I don’t want to extract them 🤷🏻‍♀️

Overall my teeth are great. No cavities, no missing teeth, and no yellow coloring. I have no complaints.

My teeth were pretty bad (one of them was turned like 90 degrees) but I didn't care about them
I actually started wearing braces 2 years ago and I'm close to being done with them (broken more than a couple brackets already lol)
I still need to brush more often

So, I have my dentist appointment tomorrow at a new facility. I still don't have the exactly time, but something tells me it is at 2:00PM. I am hoping that's the case, because I much prefer to get things done in the afternoon than in the morning. I believe this will just be an introductory appointment, and that my cavities will be filled a few weeks later.

I am trying to brush my teeth more thoroughly. I just wish my dad and my grandma would understand that some people just don't have resilient teeth.

But hopefully my tips work. :/

I think mine have always been pretty straight and they're still like that, but I don't like to smile with my teeth showing because I feel awkward for some reason lmao. I've always taken care of my teeth since I was younger so I think that helped me keep them healthy.I never needed braces or anything either so I think they grew naturally straight after my baby teeth fell off. They're not the whitest but I think they're white enough haha. :>

my teeth are actually pretty great! i’ve been told i don’t need braces and what not, my wisdom teeth haven’t grown in either, so i don’t believe i’ll have to worry about that either

my only problem that personally bothers me is

1. my front tooth overlaps the other a little

2. one of my bottom canines is completely vertical and not horizontal like the rest

In a month, I will too get a teeth implant, and I feel excited about it. In my childhood I did not care much about the state of my teeth, neither did my parents. As a result, at 22 I started to have serious problems with my teeth, and went to a program of dental practice coaching, where I was instructed on how to have a good oral hygiene. The results obtained started to pay off, because my teeth started to look better and I stopped having pain in my gums. After that I decided making a teeth implant because my dentist advised me so. Getting a teeth transplant will surely boost your self confidence about how you look, and how you will feel with healthy teeth.

I used to have almost perfect teeth. I had a separation between the front teeth but they took care of it when I was 6 years old. Then they have lost their whiteness because of antibiotics. Later I got a disease and almost lost all of them but the dentist managed to save them. Now they are a bit crooked and the separation is back but I'm happy to still have them so I don't care. I'm just annoyed at the dentist who is taking all my money 😅 , each time I save a bit of money for games or whatever, he finds something and take all of it.

A few years ago a dentist told me I had 7 cavities. I thought "there's no way, I take care of my teeth and I don't even drink soda".

So I went to another area to get a second opinion. I had one, not seven. This place was also way more professional.

I couldn't help but feel a diminish of trust with dentists, which is still prevalent today.

So, I had a dentist appointment the day before yesterday. It went pretty well. The lady who will be cleaning my teeth is really nice and gave me some tips to help me (since I have a hard time with good upkeep), and so is the guy who specializes in cavities is also really cool.

However, there is a pretty good chance I will need to have my bottom wisdom teeth taken out since they didn't grow in correctly, since my bottom teeth are crowded. .--.

my teeth are ok! they wouldn't win any awards but they're pretty straight & pretty white. i haven't ever really had any serious dental work done, i would have liked braces honestly as i do have one tooth that is snagged (i used to hate it but i've kinda grown to like it tbh) but it was way too minor for me to be allowed them. i don't particularly show my teeth though, it's not on purpose but i don't smile with them and even when i talk they're not noticeable lol

I don't mind most of my teeth but apparently all of my wisdom teeth are growing in and they all need to be pulled. I am not impressed with those ones 😔 If wisdom teeth are so wise why are they trying to grow where there's no space!!

As for the rest of my teeth, they're fine. They're not amazing and I couldn't be a model for a dental clinic by any means, but they're okay. I've got a little bit of an overbite but dentists have never been overly concerned with it to the point of needing braces or retainers or anything. My teeth are also not perfectly white which is something I am self conscious of but with the masks nobody has been able to see that, thankfully. I do brush them and take care of them they're just... not white 🤷‍♀️ Again, my dentist has never seemed concerned by that and like obviously I could go get them professionally whitened as such but the dentist costs money so I've never done it since it's not an actual health concern.

Kind of embarrassing, but I hardly brush my teeth, and it's been that way since I was a kid.

My teeth a perfectly fine and whenever I have a check up at the dentist, they always tell me how surprised they are for only occasionally brushing me teeth and that my teeth are pretty good. They're not like perfect white, but between pretty white and very light yellow.

Growing up with a form of autism made it really hard to handle a toothbrush in my mouth.
