Tenth villager slot question

Hey! sorry if this has been asked before but is it possible for a random villager to move into your tenth slot? Im currently cycling out other villagers and i'm worried my tenth slot (which im saving for raymond or kabuki) will get filled on accident

Yes, it is possible. My tenth was a random villager.

One of my villagers (Rhonda) moved out naturally and a random Pietro moved in when I tried to TT 2 days forward for the empty plot. That was my 10th villager slot.

That sucks. Too bad there isn’t a way to demolish a plot...
