everybody has such beautiful journals and it's inspiring me a lot! you all are clearly blessed with artistic skill, whether it'd be on digital or physical paper. <3
i am planning to start a journal, but it's going to be animal crossing based only. it means that i'm not going to incorporate irl things into it (like goals, things to do, etc), because i don't like associating school and homework (toxic) with animal crossing (heaven).
i'm planning to fill my journal up with screenshots from the game, dreamies, villager birthdays, inspiration for my town aesthetic and nice artwork of characters that i like. : )

I just wanted to share the first few pages I've been working on too. The map is going to stay in pencil until I start the game... then I can fill in the details to match the map I choose.

I love your little boxes for your islander info page! The thin bubble letter style looks charming too. #inspired

I just bought 4 books of paper, a mess of stickers, colored pencils, gel pens, and an amount of washi tape that can only be descrined as vulgar. I'm not doing a journal that is strictly ACNH themed per se, but if big things happen on my island I may do an entry about them and share on here.

I am doing a journal to plan my island too! Right now its just a collage of colors with notes and im planning on doing more once the game comes out! For example I'm gonna do a mood board which is just a big collage of inspiration pics for my theme in my journal. I'll also use my journal to plan villagers, catchphrases, rooms, etc.

Attached a pic, didn't know how to blur out text so I awkwardly used the scribble tool lol

Wow this is a cool idea, but I'm not artistic at all and don't really write in journals or planners (I will buy them, use them for a few weeks then stop...) I did make a folder on my computer and will have various files in it like spreadsheets. I already made a spreadsheet where I put all of the villagers from NL into tiers (Love, Like, Indifferent to, and Hate) Probably going to make ones for fish, bugs, fossils, and other collectibles. Might make a word doc with island plans to help tie me over before launch.

I also plan on making a spreadsheet that will calculate the chance that you get an island that you won't reset (if you're going to reset for some reason at the start) based on desired native fruit, desired or undesired starting villagers, and desired airport colors. Already calculated my chances at 40% to not reset...

All of these posts have inspired me to get my own journal and try actually keeping a physical one rather than a digital one. My artistic skills aren't really that great so I guess I'll have to see what I can manage to do But I love all the ideas and such posted here so far
