I agree. Whoever at Nintendo taught it was a good idea to make the event last a week (2 weeks back in 2020 orginally) should be fired.
I started a new island on my Switch Lite after not playing this game for over a year. Been really enjoying getting back into it for the most part, but imagine my outrage when I go into The Able Sister’s for the first time and discover you still have to exit and re-enter the changing room each and every time you buy something. I don’t bother trying to buy all the color variations of things anymore, it’s just not worth it.
I also took a walk around my original island on my regular Switch and found that it still lags like Hell in certain areas that imo aren’t even that heavily decorated. Had less hope for that ever being fixed but still, woulda been nice.

I really wish they had an upgrade for Nooks to be open 24/7 and it's bugging me. I'd love to play the game rn as I woke up since around 3:30- 4am and can't sleep, but can't empty pockets without losing a chunk. I'd also play more often at night.
I could just pile it somewhere until daytime, but it's annoying and I would have to log on again for that. I also can't TT due to method of playing.
I know it's a deserted island... But come on. The whole point is to develop it and have more residents.
You'd think for a game that runs in real time, they'd have some sort of option for night people. Maybe even some nocturnal villagers to choose from.

Even in Happy Home Paradise at the Resort there is a lot more buildings and its on an island also.

i think it's kinda weird that there are no donuts in the game. also burgers, though the lack of burgers makes more sense

I saw that Tiktok video of this lady who lost 500 hours of her island because her backup save data wasn't enabled right. I need to ask this question. Why in the world do we need to buy a Nintendo Switch Online membership Subcription just to backup our island data? Would it make more sense for the save data to be stored in the cloud? Didn't Nintendo forget about the Cloud Save Data? Its just one of those things that bothers me about the decesions Nintendo has made with this game.

I agree with VAnitas..I havent renewed my Nintendo Online yet so I am not sure what will happen to my island but it is unfortunate if that is the case

I can't believe there's no Gracie in Animal Crossing New Horizons! She's such an iconic character in the series, and her fashion sense is legendary. It feels like there's a void in the game without her. I miss her snooty attitude and her high-end fashion brand, GracieGrace. It was always a treat to see what new designs she had in store. And let's not forget about her fabulous car, the GracieMobile. It's just not the same without her driving around town. I hope the developers bring her back soon, because the game feels incomplete without her.

She is in the game but if you want to see her you have to use her amiibo card in the Roost and you'll see her. She does have dialgoue of what she's been up too but thats pretty much it. Really sad that most of the old Special NPC villagers (Like Gracie Grace) have been reduced to only talking at the Roost and don't play a big role in ACNH

wait u mean like cooking recipe donuts you can make urself right? Cuz the villagers definitely have donuts from time to time (also i think you can get donuts yourself from Redd but idk)
I'd love it if the meals you cooked weren't just placed in a villager's home.
Now that I think about it, I don't think there's campfire food recipes? Unless I just haven't seen any yet. I wanted to add food to my campsite but a bag of chips and pop was my best bet. The one firepit has marshmallows on a stick but I wanted something to put on a table.

I wish they made another type of bait that could be applied to your fishing rod (similar to stardew valley) that would draw any nearby fish to the hook, so that you wouldn't have to keep re-casting and manoeuvring trying to get the fish to bite

whyyyyy is it that when you use the changing room in Able Sister's you can't just buy the clothing and keep it in your pocket? Sometimes when I wanna buy clothing for my villagers i'll choose clothes from the changing room and once i leave my clothes that I was just wearing gets sent back home! am i just doing it wrong or is this bad design-

Yeah it is dumb. Like you don't get the option to even keep the clothing in your pockets. Its either you wear it or it goes into your storage. I agree it is bad design because they don't give you the option to store the clothing in your pockets.

Yea it makes no sense that they don’t give you the option of taking the clothes with you instead of storage. For awhile I was just taking off what I was wearing then switching back. Now I just have a storage shed close by ables so I can quickly grab it out of storage.

why did they take out the Nature Day Event?? now you just get a cool globe item and thats it. In 2020 there was apparently an entire event starting from today until May 4th, where you'd have these nature-related Nook Miles+ tasks, as well as interactions with Tom Nook like the May Day event.
I rlly like this event so idk why they removed it. On THIS page you can see more about how it worked, and the tasks you could do. The event is completely watered down now.
